We’ve been waiting for this moment in the story to happen for a long time and Mashima did not disappoint with delivering one of the best chapters in the Kaede War and in the series as a whole. Ziggy is the realest grandfather and one of the best in Shonen manga after this performance he put up today. He channeled his inner Eddie Guerrero to get Shiki to secure the win. Thank you for your fateful service, Ziggy!

Glad Pino is alive and well. I predicted Ziggy would send her someone else and I’m happy I was right because if she died, bro that would’ve been difficult.
I kinda wish we saw Ziggy’s body break down to give that sense of he is dead, but really enjoyed Shiki in this moment.
At this point Shiki and Rebecca need eachother as ever now comforting eachother.

I was initially spoiled with the fact that this would be the final chapter of the fight and was disappointed at it, but with the context as to why and how, I think it's perfect. The feels. Loved it. 🙏
interesting topic to think about, since there are two shiki's then what if theres two Rebecca's what i mean by this is what if the person who took over ziggy was future Rebecca
