Over the years, Lego has produced upwards of 18,000 sets.
That’s a lot of Lego and that’s not even counting the 25,000 minifigures or over 3 million pieces that have been produced with those sets. BrickEconomy estimates that the total retail cost for every set ever made is close to $500 thousand. Today the current value is around $2.25 million. What’s even crazier is that these stats are based on one unique set. If Lego produced each Lego set in a quantity of 100,000 that would add up to 1.8 billion sets, 300 billion pieces, and 2.5 billion minifigures made globally.
