We live in an age where Netflix is finally going to simulcast a new anime series global. This is a huge change in comparison to their usual batch release or week to 2 week delay release with Uncle from Another World. Seems like Vinland Saga Season 2 might actually live to see discussion

  1. They're probably only doing it because Crunchyroll got the rights to the 2nd season and they know they'd lose a ton of viewers if they didn't simulcast it.

  2. Of course, they have to listen. Their biggest rival Disney+ is doing something sane for once with Bleach and it went really well. And their current biggest anime IP Jojo is not much that popular because of their jail.

  3. Wow, I honestly was expecting the classic Netflix jail news when I saw this title. It's great to see that's not the case.

  4. Yea they listening chibi but aside from Crunchyroll deadass where the trailer at tho they gonna do what they did wit Jojo part 6 and release the trailer 2 or 3 weeks before the anime comes out. It streams on Crunchyroll and Netflix maybe this is a sign right here maybe 🤔

  5. Netflix has been failing with streaming and very dumb shows and live action anime. Netflix stealing anime to save itself.

  6. I think Netflix only release all episodes together for their 'originals' like jojo, eden zero, etc. At least in India all the anime like demon slayer, mha, bleach tybw, blue lock and spy x family are all released simultaneously with the episodes or one day after.

  7. Those dick heads can rot in hell😭 I blame them for every bad thing that happened to sevendeadlysins

  8. The time that I believe everyone would love and respect Netflix is if they
    1. Fund a remakes for 7ds season 4 and 5 or
    2. Makes 4 knights of apocalypse (the sequel) has good animation and is released globally .
As for nakaba (the creator ) its clear he doesn't give a shit about the anime , only the manga because from what I heard he was actually one of the causes of the down fall . He insisted A1 finished season 3 in 1 yr 2 months, became he was trying to make the series finish at a certain time to start the sequel (this is just a summary of it )

  9. This is going to be a bit random Chibi but I just want to say, I really do recommend you read goodnight PunPun if you haven’t. Three things I’ll just about it. One, It’s a manga that should never get an adaptation. Two, it’s the only manga that goes Beyond manga. It gave me a feeling and its an experience that I never felt in any other piece of fiction. And three, it’s a story I think people should read/experience at least once before you die. I still have berserk at my number one spot but I do go back and forth with vagabond and PunPun being my number two.

  10. Will you cover maybe a jojo part6? With netflix no one is talking about it when jojo is fire 🙁

  11. With Vinland Saga season 2 and how much they already showed off in the trailers…. They are very far along in production… Which I mean, I think they already finished the 24 episodes run or almost has it done. So for Netflix the show its very easy to release weekly episodes with the translation crew having enough time, to finish the episodes with a weekly release schedule.

Thats what I call very good anime production. The team of Shuhei Yabuta is very talented (Same team as season 1 Vinland Saga from Wit Studio). They likely gonna even pull even more effort in this arc then season one. Because this arc is the most important arc of the series. Its a Seinen Masterpiece and it can easily match the quality of Berserk and Vagabond best arcs.

The only thing that people will complain about is. That people who expect a edgy Shonen story (With fighting is the solution to all its problems). This arc is Extremely high tier Character development and character progression arc. I love this arc to death… It made me cry 2010 and 2011 (Reading this arc in the manga).. And it will do the same for the anime.

  12. I binged Vinland Saga on Amazon 2 years ago and absolutely loved it. I'm glad it'll find a wider audience on Netflix, with a well-needed simulcast.

  13. So why didn't JoJo get that treatment…..
Glad Vinland will be weekly tho!!! WOOHOO best season ever!!

  14. K so im probably gonna check it w my mum then since its gonna have a spanish dub.

  15. Ain't no way netflix is giving vinland is getting TRUE simulcast 😭 too good to be true.

  16. Crunchy will release it normally. So what else could Netflix do as to release it like Crunchy…
In my eyes it's nothing to speak positive about Netflix about that matter. They could release it like 2 weeks later but noone will watch it on Netflix then cause we've already seen it on Crunchy…

  17. I'm incredibly excited for season 2. I literally bought the manga after season 1, because how much I fell in love with it and wanted to know what happens afterwards.
It's an incredible manga/story and I love every bit of it. (I'm not fully caught up yet, I need to buy 3 more books to have everything that has been realised thus far) but from what I've read I absolutely adore Vinland Saga and just like many others their favourite arc is Farmland/Slave Arc and I can't wait to see it being animated. (Also, going to be the first time watching an anime where I've actually read and know the contents of it, which is cool)

  18. Oh great it's in netflix jail again I swear if they release the whole show at once I'll be pissed

  19. I men crunchyroll also has it and will release it normally Netflix doesn't matter

  20. Annoying as i just unsubscribed from Netflix 🤣

Oh well! Take my money i guess!
