  1. I was thinking 'hair' could be a topic which might not need an in-depth approach and could be handled rather quick? I know you already did fur but on heads it is a bit different.

  2. This is an essential piece of information for any painter. Really useful.

  3. Dont know if you have made a video about this. But a video where you are talking and showing the diferent results with a rounded drybrush comepared to a flat one

  4. So glad this vid just came out, I've recently got an airbrush for basing and have been worried due to my shaky hands as I tend to ruin my dry brushing and base coats when feeling in the details!

Could a specific varnish after these stages assist with wiping off mistakes?

  5. Love this tip.
Never thought something like this was possible, I just redo the whole thing, usually. Or hope I find it quick enough so i can wipe it off with a wet brush…

  6. This is great! I'd love to see a video looking at what differences you get compared to dry brushing with a dampening pad and palette, compared to using a paper towel. I remember you covering the theory of this in another video, but I'd love to see what effect this has on the paint job

  7. I said it already, but 'You're a wizard, Byron!" If you don't know you don't see it!
Very well done! I am horrible in suggestions , sorry 🙁 !

  8. Not gonna lie, I started crying the moment that Mephiston Red went on. if anyone needs me I'll be sobbing in the corner. You brute! 🙂

  9. Topic Ideas: magic effects and flames. Glow effects. Wife topic idea: hair. (She's starting a sisters army 😄)

Really good job as always. Very useful topic, Thank you Sir!

  10. A quick tips video on sub-assemblies for dry brushing I think could be helpful.

I know I approach a model I plan to mostly dry brush slightly differently than one I plan on mostly layering. Unless it just me who does this

  11. I had to learn these fixes the hard way, through bitter experience. Great points at the end on how to clean up dark marks on light surfaces.

  12. Step 0: Don´t let the color dry. Get another brush immediately, load it up with water and thin the color on the model/wash it off, then wipe it off as best as you can with a paper towle. Repeat. Even if you don´t get it all off, it will be a much easier job covering up what is left.

  13. I've started doing something similar to fix coffee staining on contrast painted/ speedpainted models, although more as a stippled glaze. Being a noob I find it a lot easier to let the contrast paint (over a gloss coat) do the shading and highlighting and then stipple a midtone onto the large flat areas that might be blotchy, than to try and blend highlights and shading over a base coat – but it still lets you achieve a nicely consistent finish that's hard to get with just contrast/speed paintd. You can even build gradients that way. I can usually find a good mid-tone by mixing the speedpaint I used with a slightly lighter acrylic paint – it's thin and slightly translucent and it does a good job of erasing those ugly blobs.

  14. My hyper specific request: Painting inside recessed panels lines (think of the lines on a Eldar Falcon or Viper – I also paint spaceships 🤷).

  15. I’d love to see you fixing mistakes on particular parts of faces. What to do when you F up eyes, mouths, chins etc 🙂
