Some of the brassica plants continue to grow for a very long time in the garden, either producing kale leaves to harvest for many months, or waiting until much later in the season to start to produce Brussels sprouts or flower shoots of the sprouting broccoli plants. And a few of these closely related long season brassicas seem to need different spacing and care in order to produce the best crop.
