  1. What an absolutely amazing episode! It's great to have Attack on Titan back! 🔥The full UNCUT reaction is out now over on Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/carlie_and_ange

We hope you enjoyed Ange's cover of the Attack on Titan theme. Enjoy it while it is still in the video before it inevitably gets claimed as copyright infringement! 😆❤

  2. Man, the cover of "Attack on Titan" absolutely killing it out here. I really loved the re-imagining of those held notes into just a nice little shred breakdown.
Now that's a song that I'd like to see you do a full arrangement and cover of. You could really do a number on that song applying your style to the whole thing.

  3. As a Manga reader mappa absolutely killed it!! Hange and ramzis death really hit way harder in the anime. I can't wait for part 2. Get your tissues ready 😭😭

  4. I will say AoT is something special when youtop and get to reflect on the themes. Freedom, power, and choices all interplay with each other and drive life forward. In the end, the only ones truly free of consequence are the dead.

  5. A detail a lot of reactors seem to forget about Annie and her motivations is that all the horrible things she did and endured were so she could get back to her father. But right now she believes her father is dead (it happened just after they managed to escape Paradis Island). All her motivation is gone because all the things she did, which she always felt bad about doing (remember how she felt when taking Marco's ODM gear), were basically pointless. While she had a reason to fight she could endure, not anymore.

  6. The whole Reiner’s mom situation is actually very realistic, bet most people heard about news of a woman being abusive to her kid bc of her own miserableness, which often is caused by the dad being irresponsible and take no role in parenting or partnering. Yet people only give hell to the woman and just sort of forget the dad existing, because the mom is visibly fucking up in parenting while the dad just conveniently become invisible escape all the blame. In Reiner’s situation I’d say the dad is a lot more to blame than the mom, because he has done nothing for them. Karina at least still raised Reiner up even as an Eldian single mom.

  7. I think for reiner´s mother, her love was always there, but she was just obsessed with his father leaving them,
she seems to have cared for him always as a mother, but that was never her intention. At the end she sees her flaws, and realized her inner monster, i liked it, not for her, but imagine Reiner getting true love from his mother, that´s my main concern actually, like i was actually starting to cry when i saw them all just accepting her death focused on the gang.

For floch, i just loved floch. I hate the fact that people legit started hating him for no, no reason at all. Floch was so human, and never did anything terrible till season 4 started.

  8. The two older people in the cells that got stampled were Eren's grandparents (also Zekes). After Zeke's betrayal they were imprisoned

  9. Ange you gotta realize that way before Annie was revealed to be the Female Titan Armin probably already had feelings for Annie. Over the past 4 years Annie must’ve fell in love w Armin while crystallized. Armin still couldn’t accept that Annie could do what she did whilst learning the truth of Marley so there love might be due to ignorance but it’s still very genuine.

  10. I've been watching your channel for a great while now, only now to realize I haven't been subscribed. That is fixed right away. You guys are probly the best reactors of anything I've watched. Your commentary is genius, and your "divided" opinions are perfect. I've never seen anyone break the show down how Ange does; even if I don't always agree 100% I can always see why you think the way you do. Carlie also realizes things in the show that I sometimes don't catch on my first watch. And of course the opening guitar segments are amazing. Keep on reacting and assume that going forward, I'll be one of the likes on your videos. Also, you guys are some gorgeous people.

  11. That’s wasn’t a hot take I agree with you 100% Annie has a crazy body count, I’m a yeagerist tho

  12. For those confused, yes, Eren is a monster. There’s always been a running theme in AoT and it’s the idea of being a “slave to something”. For Eren, it’s freedom. Eren doing the Rumbling isn’t necessarily what makes him a monster (although mass-genocide is a good argument for it), it’s his true motivation and feelings that make him terrible. If you truly understand what Eren is saying to Ramzi you realize that Eren only wants to be free. Eren doesn’t care about Paradis vs.Marley, Eldians vs. the world, or even his friends, or at least he doesn’t prioritize them. His main-goal is obtaining freedom for himself, and if that means Paradis and his friends get freedom too then that’s great, but it doesn’t matter to him in the end. It’s this selfishness that makes him horrible, it’s the joy he takes in destroying the world that makes him so horrid. That kid-Eren wasn’t a way to cope with the trauma, it was the child-like feeling of happiness and freedom he was getting from killing everyone, not because death makes him happy, but because humanity’s death means freedom. He feels sorry they’re going to die, but he still wants to kill them to achieve his dream. He’s a parallel to Erwin. Erwin didn’t really care about humanity or Paradis, he just wanted to know the truth, but it just so happened that his-goal aligned with what was best for Paradis. He felt bad that so many people died in pursuit of his dream, but he still wanted them to die because it got him closer to fulfillment. They both have childish dreams they’ll do anything to achieve, they can’t help it, they’re a slave to it.

  13. The saddest thing about Hanges death is that she could have lasted a bit longer if he pulled the same move they did with rod reiss and poured water on herself

  14. 4:10 They are from the Mid-Eastern Alliance, heavily inspired by the Ottoman Empire. The hats are called Fez/s.

  15. The old couple in the prison cell were Grisha’s parents aka Zeke’s and Eren’s grandparents.
