    A journey has ended. This experience was growing on me and will still continue. Thank you so much for this reaction videos. I thought I will cry less than before but fortunately not😂. This Anime is very dear to my heart and I will cherish it forever. Like they said "We won't forget".

    You just have to stand up and applaud the show. From animation, story telling, voice acting, OSTs and direction POV, the show was absolutely stunning. One of the best shows to come out in the recent years. 86 worthy of every accolades it got.

    Hey guys I just wanted to give some extra deets from the LN such as how the federacy reacted to the republic.

    So first the day catastrophe struck, the Republic founding festival. That years High-school valedictorian went on stage and protested the republics treatment of the 86, most laughed at him, some said nothing and some secretly agreed with him but said nothing, unable to speak up. Then the republic was destroyed, but the Alba citizens didn't repent their sins, they blamed others, believing themselves to be the victims till the end, the Republic citizens were slaughtered by the millions (I think there were 10mil alba living but after they were reduced to 1mil).

    Next the Federacy of Giad shows up with state of the art weaponry and begins pushing the legion out of Republic territory. The Alba welcomed them with applause but unfortunately for them the Federacy somehow knew of the persecutions. The Federacy led an 86 Rescue Operation so they saw the internment camps for themselves. Remember the war has only been going on for 10 years so alot of the federacy people had relatives that lived in the republic before the war, and then they come and find this. Safe to say they were NOT happy

    The operation commander would go on to tell the President and other high officers of the republic "if you hated color that much, you may as well have dyed your flag white". Things got better tho, the federacy discovered that some Alba was secretly keeping records of the 86 since this man had gone to school with many of them in the past. Unable to bear the guilt any longer he marched to the Frontline and was never seen again.

    Things did not end there tho, eventually the federacy found journals of inmates detailing the atrocities that had been committed. 86 would come forward with their own stories, videos were found of Republic soldiers crimes against the 86, they found documents of human experimentation and trafficking of infants, and finally they found a great number of skeletons buried beneath the camps and inside the fortress walls. After that there were comments saying that they should abandon the republic but that didn't happen. The federacy said "let those who know shame suffer from it until their dying day. And any pigs incapable of feeling shame don't even warrant attention of acknowledgement" I believe the number of surviving 86 was 10 thousand, I can't remember how many there was before the war but somewhere in the millions.

    After how many times I've watched this ending, I always got the feels, crying for how good and perfect this ending is. 86 will always be my top mech anime of all time.
