No, the shittiest part is that she returned ONLY because she knows she is about to die. Great, now Miri gets to experience her mother die in 3D, well how nice of her. And then what? Send her back to her Papas like she is just an item to be traded around whenever it suits you? Damn, man, Miri is headed straight into trauma for life at this point.
Her mom is selfish, she isn’t thinking about Miri, anyone who puts their child first would know that it’s better to leave your child in the care of people that love them and take care of them than take them back, get them attached to you and then die and leave your child alone.
Now let's kill all these motherf*** so they can have Miri back… Sad episode after a wholesome one.

The last episode reminded me of when I babysat my niece after returning from high school for 3 years while her parents were working until late, so I developed a fathering instinct. I had to stop because my family and I were moving out to another country that was far away, my parents said there weren't as many tears as mine when I had to say my niece goodbye.
So yeah, episode 10 was my killer for today and it'll be for the coming week.

Episode 10 is a bit of a reality check. Miri’s mum isn’t regret her actions now, but she also has terminal cancer, so returning Miri to her is not going to be a long term solution. But The guys are assassins. Not just that, but they killed Miri’s father. How well can this turn out?
No but I cried while watching episode 10 and cried again while rewatching it with you 🙁
The fact that when he left the cat in the first episode he gave it his scarf, and now he's done the same to Miri 😢
They really foreshadowed Anna wouldn’t sing the song well in ep 10 in ep 8.😂
It’s sad seeing Miri go I wonder how her coming back into their lives gonna go/how she comes back in their lives/what make her comeback in their lives.

My throat hurts trying not to cry especially when Kazuki gave him his scarf, mirroring that cat scene where he returned the cat where it came from and left his scarf.
A wise woman once said "It does not matter if you are a man or a woman. Having the ability to make a child does NOT make you a parent!". I know the quote is from the show 'Divorce Court' and I think it was 'Lynn Toler' who said it though I am not 100% on that part. Having the ability to make a child does not make someone a parent and it's horrible that society forces children into horrible positions because it. It shouldn't give you a right to the child. Ever. Your choices are your own and when the child isn't a part of those choices, you should lose all right to that child.
Don't worry you aren't the only who doesn't like Miri's mother. Because I can acknowledge how fucked her situation was, but that doesn't make all the terrible shit she said and did go away, she literally sent a 4 year old off on a train by herself to a city to go live with her human trafficking father (that was willing to kill her to save himself btw) and then said she wanted to beat her every time she laughed. Like I can guarantee you if Kyu hadn't told her all that stuff she wouldn't have cared about/looked for Miri, she only cares now that she's on a timer.
My Jefita use to say any female could have a child but it takes a mother to raise one. Miri's mom doesn't deserve pet let alone a child.

Nah I agree with you, Miri's mom needs to take a hike. She might have been in a terrible headspace but she said so many awful things, sent her child away by herself to who she probably knew was a trafficker so she could get some money out of him which probably wouldn't have worked anyway. I understand her issues, and no one should raise a child if they don't want to but coming back and demanding Miri??? So because she's dying she finally sees the good she had so she wants to take Miri away from her happy life?? Unfortunately she probably is the safest for Miri to be with right now, so good on Kyu for getting Miri out of danger but it's still painful
Man i was crying every drop of water my body had inside. The part when kazuki hugged Miri while tearing remind me so much of a slightly similar experience i had with my family so it was very hard to stop the tears from flowing :,)
It's painful because it's so realistic. Kids don't understand when parents lie to them. Miri was neglected but she still loves her mom. That's just so sad… the innocence of a child.
Taking into account how miri looks parenthood with the whole "dad is the one who save you" (which I feel can be applied to motherhood too) it feels just wrong that the person who let a 4 year old child go alone to find a stranger and textually said "I don't want to relate to that kid anymore" wants to come back and take her only because she is dying
It's definitely a messed up situation…I wonder how Miri will end up back with them. Will they take her back after Rei kills his father and Miri's mother passes away? Will they steal her back if they check on her and see her not being treated properly? Episode 10 ending was sad af, im not sure how this will play out. Potentially could be a bad ending to the season 💔🥺
I thought the best solution is a Coexistence instead of a Full custody.
The reason is as we saw Miri still loves her mom and if she just disappears again another random excuse will have to be made which would be complicated for Miri but, if we allow Miri to create final happy memories with her mom before time is up Miri will still have things to remember about her mom and make her loss less rough. Remember I said they should Coexist not decide who gets Full custody
i've tried so hard to force myself to be sympathetic to miri's mother but ITS SO HARD 😭 Especially when she comes in demanding like that after crying about all her issues selfishly. I would've liked her more if she agreed to visiting occasionally while miri stayed with the boys BUT OF COURSE IT'S NOT THAT EASY 😭😭 it's hard cuz I know people who have been abandoned by parents but as soon as they start dying it's only then that they want to speak to their children. Miri is gonna have hella abandonment issues
