  1. I just started watching this but paused to make these comments. Then I will see if this Easter egg is mentioned. Here is a BIG one, with multiple connections. So far, in searching the web, I haven’t found this from anyone else. Just after the two arrive in 2022 Toronto, Kirk taps repeatedly on the time travel device. In real time, I immediately recognized the seven tap pattern. It was the quite famous “Shave and a Haircut” sequence in pop culture. What was interesting was that Kirk also tapped out the response “Two Bits” and did it without any pause. He did the entire thing on the time device. Many times this complete “code” (it has its roots in international Morse code) has been used at the end of many things. Loony Tunes has too many to reference. Although it only occurred to me later, it might have been a clue that THAT Kirk wasn’t going “back to his future.” In the original Back to the Future, of course, was Doc Brown played by Christopher Lloyd. Christopher Lloyd was also a Klingon in the Search for Spock. It has already been mentioned years ago that Kirk stole his ship in STIV to save Earth by traveling back in time. Although it was a Klingon “Bird of Prey” in the movie, in the SNW episode we saw a photo of a time traveling Romulan “Bird of Prey.” In yet another connection, Christopher Lloyd played Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. To lure out Roger Rabbit, he uses the SAAH challenge knock until Roger can’t help himself and breaks through a wall to finish it with the response “Two Bits!!!” Like Leonardo da Vinci is famous for saying, “It’s all connected.”
