This was such an amazingly good anime! If it wasn't for Edgerunners I'd easily call it the best anime of the year. It's certainly the best family-friendly one in quite some time. I was blown away by both its story and how creative its worldbuilding was. It's not perfect – its stop motion animation isn't quite Wallace & Gromit smooth – but it's dang close. Watch it if you can.
