This is one of the largest species of tarantula and we caught this one in the middle of it molting it’s exoskeleton, it has no bones and is super vulnerable at this stage of its life, look closely at the fangs! Such incredible footage!

Molting is the most amazing thing! Even brand new fangs! But so soft and delicate at that stage, they are the ones in danger reslly. This is a gorgeous color…i havent seen the blue color in the Therphosidae. Cool!!
