After the last season of Spy X Family, I decided to give Buddy Daddies a try and would be lying if I said I wasn’t impressed. Since Buddy Daddies Episode 1 I have been having this question in my head: why don’t they hire put Miri in a daycare or hire a nanny? Buddy Daddies episode 4 finally answered that.

Ikr!😂🤣 The exact same question that I was asking ever since ep 2 when dealing with kids that you're familiar with or ones that you aren't it's. Best to just A. find a sitter B. Put them with a trustworthy responsible adult C. or a daycare until then. Cuz basic knowledge regardless of dealing with kids beforehand or not
Why did you immediately ask this from the first episode? Isn't it obvious that in the first episode they just met her? And in the second episode, they tried to find her mother, then they finally decided to take care of her themselves. Wouldn't it not make more sense if they immediately decided to send a stranger's child to daycare? It was only in the third episode that they realized that taking care of a child was difficult. And finally, in the fourth episode, they put her in daycare. So it took two episodes for them to realize that.

Considering they were raised as assassins. It’s no wonder why they didn’t know the basics as a normal citizen, let alone be a parent. But them struggling to be an average parent is so funny to me lol
Off topic but the latest ep where in that scene where they were both hiding from Miri and she somehow sensed that their there, the blond hair guy(Iforgot his name as Im typing this,_,) he said “thats our genes doing its job” and im like”….excuse me wha-“

Well I am glad it didn't occur to them before bc in that way, they are now sure that this child CANNOT go anywhere else, her mother simply doesn't love her enough, or I would rather speculate that she perhaps does but is working under toxic people and is also pretty poor to raise Miri alone. So she sends her away. And Miri has bonded over with both her Papas. It is so warm to see Kazuki going full on papa mode, over-protective, overthinking and getting way too much worried about raising Miri properly and getting sentimental randomly while Rei caring for her and actually starting to smile with these people, especially for a man who has never been loved. Must be so warm. I wish them happiness. If this anime gets a sad ending, I will freaking kill the director😭

I don't think hiring a babysitter is a thing in Japan, the usual is the daycare. Besides they do shady job so having a nanny to look after the kid is out of question. Another thing is they originally planned to return Miri to her mother but they failed.
It makes no sense to burden the parents for enrollment. I can understand the daycare needing the license but damages seems a lot of basic stuff is complicated in Japan

The moms were for some reason really simping when the showed up at the daycare, like ladies, you’re already married and these two have a 99% chance of being gay
For the daycare, they did send her to one. Of course not since episode 1 since it just the opening of the story. Nanny? If the nanny take care of her at their house, it be bad because of the nature of their work. They might have a lot of secret documents and weapons. Miri is a child so it is fine but adult is dangerous.
