Anatomy pics of the monsters tip the scales for me as a buy. Toho, take note and start putting anatomy of monsters and weapons in your home media releases and games. And whoever owns Kong these days, you too.

From my memory of watching these movies as a 5 year old, I remember the creature flying with the turtle shell spinning around with jets of fire coming out of it as it flew through the air. Was that it’s normal mode of flying?

I already preorder this and it won't be a deal-breaker if it isn't there, but I still violently hope that the MST3K episodes are included. I have a feeling they aren't because we probably would've seen them advertised in promotional stuff, but I'll still hope. But enough moaning, the boxset looks AMAZING! I am so excited to watch these movies again (and a few for the first time.) It'll be a big improvement on the Millcreek releases. Some of these movies I haven't seen in any quality better than the eastwestDVD releases (who remembers those?) Given that Arrow Video is certainly better than the 99 cent store, I'll proudly display this box on my shelf!
It's a shame Criterion's Godzilla set couldn't get the same love (poo on you, Toho.)
Get this along with the Criterion Godzilla set and just enjoy nothing but kaiju goodness for the rest of quarantine!

The fact that you’ve remastered the AIP dub audio alone for all of the Showa entries makes this a buy for me. In just one move, you made Criterion’s Godzilla set look inept by comparison.

So annoyed i didn't know that this was a limited set until a couple of days before it came out and it still is "received". I'm legitimately disapointed with that. Waited a long time for this. I just want to know if i am getting it. I feel sorry for anyone who wanted this but can't get it now. Or would have to buy it from the scalpers on ebay. I hope arrow reads the comments and responds to emails.
This set is basically perfect. the only things that would make it even better is if they included all the MST3K Gamera episodes on it XD

This really is an amazing set, much better than the Criterion Godzilla set (which I own and it's awesome too) and thank you so much for finally releasing all of the Gamera films in the UK AND! in Japanese!
But I'm having money troubles recently so I can't buy the full set atm 😔 are you guy's planning on releasing a standard edition set of these films? I would very very highly appreciate it and I'm sure they'll sell.

Allow me to just take a moment to thank you all for being the ones to finally release these movies in the UK! We've been severely lacking in Kaiju content on home video for many years now. So to see this finally happen is just euphoric. A little light when I needed it most.
In terms of the case/box set, I actually prefer the standard edition. I hate what arrow and criterion did with the weird monster box illustration and the disc slips where you scratch it everytime you put the disk in or take it out. And the standard set slip cover cases look great on the shelf
