When Naruto Uzumaki became the seventh hokage of Konoha the ninja world knew that without any doubt that Konoha had taken the lead to lead the world into a new era. Naruto was the strongest shinobi on the planet whose power at the time appeared to be unrivaled. However, everything changed with the introduction of Kara. Suddenly there were people in existence who showed power beyond that of the kages and were bold enough to challenge Naruto to serious fights. Their leader, Jigen the vessel of Isshiki Otsutsuki, was strong enough to easily defeat Naruto and Sasuke with little effort. Isshiki Otsutsuki once reincarnated was strong enough that Six Paths Sage Mode Naruto amped with the chakra cloak was unable to land a single hit on Isshiki. In the end, it required Naruto’s Baryon Mode to be able to turn the tide in battle to be given the chance to tip the flow of battle to give Naruto a chance to secure the victory against Isshiki. However, it came at the expense of losing Kurama, and by default it has now made Naruto signifcantly weaker than he’s been in a long time and now as a result the challenges before him are too great for him to handle on his own. Code without limiters might be too much for him to take on alone and the cyborg siblings Ada and Daemon possess power that goes beyond Jigen. Now, Kawaki is in possession of karma as well as the dojutsu powers of Isshiki, making him extremely powerful and hax as well. In the last manga chapter, Boruto Chapter 67, Naruto was confronted with the reality that he can’t control Kawaki and Shikamaru warned Naruto that their would likely be consequences for Kawaki’s actions! What could these consequences be and could they ultimately lead to Naruto being forced to step down as seventh hokage? Is Naruto now unfit to be the hokage of Konoha? Will Kakashi have to retake the mantle of Hokage and what does this mean for Naruto in the future?
