This is a short 35mm teaser trailer for the Japanese version of the 5th Pokemon film, using footage of the 2001 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade to show how much of a global success for children the franchise had become, and later showing off some of the film’s animation early in development. The tentative title of the film, “Pocket Monsters The Movie: 2002”, is shown in the thumbnail and towards the end. The shape of the two zeroes seems to resemble an infinity sign. The end card says “The Main Title (of the film) will be revealed worldwide on January 30, 2002 (Wed)”, and because it shows footage of the Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2001, it seems like this trailer premiered sometime in December 2001.

The print was scanned in 4K, and is completely pre-matted. Despite that, what you see here is a full 35mm frame uncropped. There was absolutely no video processing done whatsoever, so this is the print’s natural state. It has been preserved the last ~20 years amazingly well, with barely any signs of damage or fading. This is how good 35mm Pokemon could look if restored properly.
