Super Pinoy 628 and saltyyaro collab again to react to the trailer and the 5-minute sneak peek of the recent Netflix anime adaptation of “trese”, based on the comic book of the same name.
Set in Manila where the mythical creatures of Philippine Mythology live in hiding amongst humanity, private investigator Alexandra Trese must go head-to-head with a criminal underworld made up of supernatural creatures and find the root cause of ‘em all.
Super Pinoy 628 can’t just imagine how amazing it is seeing a Filipino horror comic that was created by Budjette Tan and KaJO Baldisimo has been adapted into a world-class anime series and the fact that this anime is available in 3 languages, English, Filipino and Japanese. at least the foreign dub has retained some Filipino words but are said in their own accent so it is somehow an instrument for foreigners to get curious about Filipino Mythology.
Also the fact that the English dub voice actors and actresses have Filipino Roots.
