This is a video showcasing Shanks’s moveset in Pirate Warriors 3. I left out the Special Attacks, since you can easily find those in other videos on Youtube. For the same reason, I only show the moveset itself, and not against actual enemies, unless the move is better demonstrated against enemies, such as grabs and grapples.
So his R1 action is interesting. Gameplay-wise, it slows down time for a split-second, and has no cooldown. It also adds a charge to his sword, signified by the red glow. When his sword has a charge, his next combo finisher that he does will have an enhanced/more pronounced effect, such as more damage. Even though his moveset isn’t canon aside from Conqueror’s Haki, he’s one of the most badass and powerful characters in this game.
