  12. As much as I'm enjoying this series and using it as a guide (new player), most of these things have now been nerfed to the point where they add very little. The farms bonuses in the first episode were altered to the point that I really struggled getting the goods to send out. Not only were the bonuses reduced, but so was the radius of each farm, meaning I had to turn the first row of farm around, just to get a slight efficiency upgrade. The saddest one though, has been your bank exploit, which I was really looking forward to. As this is pretty much the way banks and rich people make their fortunes in the real world, I was hoping it would be an 'official' exploit and not nerfed to uselessness. Instead of gaining money, all the banks are just draining my funds alarmingly fast.

    To be honest, I think the developers have nerfed this game a bit too much. I restarted this map three times, each time lowering the difficulty settings to try and reach what you were achieving, but the struggle to stay in the black is frustrating. I've already found it necessary to go off your path. For example, the farming bonuses decreases meant I had to find a second location for more farms. Eventually managed to get the balance to start increasing during the world wars period, but Cold War is proving to be nothing short of a disaster. Thirty-six banks – fully staffed and at maximum budget – and the Private Banking income is just $6,874. Each has an efficiency of 125%, but each also runs at a loss of around -$225 per month. What is extra frustrating is, that you obviously spent the time to find ways to maximise an already difficult game in a perfectly acceptable way. I dislike calling things in a game 'unfair', but it's one thing for devs to balance things out, but something else entirely alter things to the point where a cleverly thought out set of strategies are effectively blocked. I'm reminded of my early attempts at Frostpunk. It was very hard to win the scenarios, but each time, you could clearly see where you were going wrong, and you were rewarded by solving the problems. Tropico seems to punish people for finding solutions to problems.

    So this leads me to a request. I know you have 'done this' already, but how about a revisit series of this map to see if the changes can be overcome and still turn Tropico into a capitalist's offshore financial paradise?

  13. You dunno wat you're doing. You should have at least 4m to 20m by the time you reach 1k pops. With 200k to 300k exports with huge amount of revenue through entertainment, tourism, food, church and health care if you built hyper capitalist style.
    At least I would have.

    The fact that you built more than two banks, what for decoration? Is bound to bankrupt your island.

    You should have a balance of 700k to 1.5m by the time you reach 1k pops.

  15. This does not work anymore. Didn't realize until I put all these banks in and was going broke. Tore all of them down and gonna try to recoup. Same with the farm thing, you only get 10% instead of 20% so 200% is not as easy, however that method still works and was very profitable.

  16. damn. u get 1m in part 6. me just 600 and then the money is goneee when i build the industrial. idk why my income its not that big and the money not come back ;(
