hey y'all, quick note about auto aging/needs bugs: I have the slice of life mod, and tons of forum responses cited that as the issue for auto aging and needs out of sync. Several of my sims died of starvation before I completely removed the slice of life mod. have been playing a day without it installed, and my game is back to normal!
The bug I have since the phone update is that whenever a sim appears in the world and is changing their phone case the camera moves to that sim (like when a sim dies). It becomes really annoying when you are in your lot at the camera goes all the way to the edge of the world and it happens multiple times
Finally! I had my sim sit up on her bed like in the High School expansion trailer.
I find that I can't use mods in my game and expect it to work normally.
Hmm.. I do in fact play with UI and MCC but not with CC. I haven’t personally had any of these issues yet but I DO have a bug where my sims REFUSE to vacuum and just never start the task. I’ll cue it repeatedly and they start walking towards it but instead will walk outside the house and just never get to it. The maid ignores it too and the house gets filthy and then they’re all upset about it. Naturally 🤦🏽♀️ So yeah that I do find irritatingly. Lol maybe my sims just don’t wanna vacuum 😂 That’s been happening for me for over a year though
The needs one definitely happened to me and my sim died of starvation luckily I had just loaded back into the game
Toddlers not being able to eat
One small bug, sometimes the high chairs glitch out and say that they’re in use when the toddler is away from them, so you can’t clean the high chairs or feed the toddler!
when i leave neighborhood stories on default settings, I feel like I play a family for like 10 days and suddenly literally none of the townies are recognizable and every family has 4 adopted children and 2 adopted dogs somehow
About the laundry and dryer issue, it works for a little time then afterwards you can add the dirty clothes in the washing machine and it will say it is clean even tho it's not. So what im doing about that is removing the washing machine then buying another one which is pretty annoying when youre doing it everytime. I hope they will fix it soon. my dryer breaks every single time i use it without fail regardless of if i clean lint tray or not, regardless of the upgrades i do, regardless of the mods and cc I use.

I don’t think it’s a glitch, but ever since the patch for high school, my sims are SO SLOW when walking anywhere. They no longer walk or jog anywhere!
Had the needs bar problem and my sims would suddenly starve to death. Took all my mods out and added them back one by one and it was the Better Build Buy mod that was causing it for me.
I haven't played with laundry for years because of the laundry bug. I really hope it is actually fixed. Recently the most annoying bug I have is every time my home lot loads it brings home every sim who was off lot at work. Doesn't pay them and tanks their rating at work. So annoying… and I'm playing an ambitious sim who just always wants a promotion. It's beyond frustrating.
Anyone having the bug where all NPCs are changing all the time? Like the creature keeper is some girl and then the day after a completely other sim altough the girl still exist in the world… I play a lot with cottage living and they all seem to be changing daily!
Very helpful video, if you can get them to work on certain fixes of bugs maybe suggest packs like cars
There are fingernail bugs in CAS now 🙃
So when I had an issue with the need bar not displaying properly and sims simply refusing to eat – it was actually because of some outdated Peacemaker furniture mods
The cc beds bug 🙁 every time you place a cc bed, it just disappears. Which is a shame because the original beds are ugly
And if my Sims are going to prom, everyone is just standing outside, stuck, and not being able to do anything. Really weird, so I just skip prom
My laundry day doesn't work. My sim can put it in the waxher or dryer but can't turn it on. This has happened to me multiple times since laundry day came out. I quit using mods because my game crashed two separate times after loading mods and I lost everything because I really don't know how to back up my game. It was so frustrating because it was over 5 years of gameplay. I also am having problems with my sims aging up when I put the life span on long. So for now, I still have life span turned off.

omg the sims leaving work is happening to me every time I travel with another sim while one is working or when I leave the game and come back! I didn't know that it was a bug 😂😂 it's so annoying, hope they fix that
I literally still have not been to prom at all. The event is on the calendar then disappears when the time of the event rolls around. I really hope I get to go after this patch.
The washer and dryer stop working once you update the machines
Yeah also, the amount of times my sims mother texts my sim about having a baby is ridiculous. Like she got some kinda baby fever and just wants to machine gun fire them out
Here's what I'm considering a bug, and the most annoying current bug:
Sims who come home from work and got promoted simultaneously developing the fear of dead end job 🙄
Every time my sim gets promoted they get that stupid fear.
It is rather annoying that every DLC that comes out brings in 1000 new bugs plus bugs within the DLC, I wouldn’t mind a break from DLCs and just focus on fixing the game but EA can’t allow the Sims team not to make money
That's the problem I been having in the sim my Sim was supposed to be at work and when I went to cas and came back to play mode and my Sim self came even though he was supposed to be working longer he only been to work not even an hour with make me so mad that I just stopped playing for a while I been playing other games I own

The bug that I’m having issues with is having fears and wishes turned off… and having them still show up when the screen reloads… I have to go back in to settings and turn them back on and then off again to get them to go away
I see people talking about the inappropriate relationships bug a lot but i've actually never had it. is it caused by a specific pack or mod? or like, a specific type of gameplay (eg having a large extended family in other households or something). i mostly play legacy style so I would have thought that this bug would come up when i have huge families of sims moving out and living around the world but its never happened. maybe im just lucky lol

I really hope they fix the toddler stuff soon. I play on PS4 & my sims cancel almost every toddler care action and my toddlers were constantly miserable & and angry. It lowkey made me not want to have kids or age them up to children immediately. Toddlers also walk super glitchy and made my adult sims glitch too😩 I just want smooth gameplay
It really irritates me that the Sims blame mods for a lot of the bugs in the game. I play with absolutely no mods. I've never used mods and I finally gave up playing The Sims because of all the bugs.
Not fixing the inappropriate contact or even addressing it is really bad as it can be triggering for a lot of people who have suffered abuse/inappropriate contact in their lives. Come on Sims team please address this this is serious 🤨
