You Should Play Friday 13th in 2022
Friday the 13th is a third person asymmetrical horror survival game that pits 7 counsellors against the infamous Jason Voorhees. You must do everything in your power to temporarly incapacitate ande escape the hockey mask killer, as he stalks you around one of 5 maps based on the first 5 films in the Friday the 13th franchise. Players must work together to escape the man that cannot be killed, by means of car, boat, calling the police or calling in backup in the form of Tommy Jarvis. Every game pits you with the challenge of besting one of the most prolific killers of the slasher genre!
Playing as Jason sees the player taking advantage of many different abilities to track down and slaughter your prey, ranging from sense and stalk, to track down your enemies using their fear and strengthen yourself beyond any human capabilities, to the morph and shift abilities, allowing you to get the upper hand on your opponents by quickly traversing the map. Show the counsellors the consequences of crossing this horror icon at Camp Crystal Lake!

I love the atmosphere of this game. But find the dead by daylight gameplay more fun. It’s more polished. I wish I could combine the two games.

Friday the 13th isn't anything like dead by daylight. This game would be so much better if it had kept recieving the updates it needed to withstand today.

They need to bring back the dedicated servers, I'm tired of getting kicked out of a match when the host leaves. One time, I was about to escape, and the host left leaving me in rage lol but seriously.

I played when this game was in beta and played it a lot when it first came out and I thought it was dead cause for awhile I could never get into a match then I saw all the TikTok’s and was like wait…it’s still alive??? I’ve been playing so much DBD I forgot about how good this game was then I played it again a week ago cause I got it for 3$ and tbh I’m so upset about the lawsuit thing cause this game to me has more replay ability then DBD and I own EVERYTHING to date with DBD but the new update killed it. I’m glad this game is still alive
I fucking hate illfonic with a burning passion. They abandoned this IP as a buggy mess, did the same thing with Predator Hunting Grounds and are probably going to do the same thing with Ghostbusters

Nah I'll stick to Dbd. when I play Friday the 13th I feel like I'm being hunted by the survivors when I'm Jason because I'm constantly being smacked by 15 pans 80 axes and 687 wrenches
I've recently gotten into it and honestly I usually have no issues getting into a full party. From old streams I've watched it seems like less people are using voice chat to strategize nowadays though, but I play as AJ so that's kinda fine with me.
I stopped playing this game because the community got super trolly. people couldnt stop running over their teammates with cars or driving them into lakes when i last played, so i said screw it.
How can you still play the game? It's so hacked, you can't mute the criminally loud music, there's countless players that makes the game unplayable.
