I actually did know that because I’m always used to hearing, “Bats,” from Joker. That and the lack of a skeleton when you look at fake Joker in Detective Mode had me suspecting something from the start and lo and behold it was Clayface the whole time. It was the performance of a LIFETIME!
Joker is so unpredictable that no one can even tell when it is him or clayface from him saying either “bats” or “Batman.” It shows how manipulative and intelligent Joker is behind his madness.
The healthy Joker in the death screen might mean that Joker actually took the cure once Batman died. I don't see why Clayface would want to permanently impersonate Joker specifically.
Alternatively, the death screen makes sense because with Batman dead, Clayface would presumably give Joker the cure, causing the real Joker to return to normal.
Day (I lost count) 23 (probably) asking to use the gonkdamn heat detector and go to a corner over the museum stating that that corner is the warmest place in Arkham.
I wouldn’t have guessed that, But now it seems pretty obvious. Also I think you should try to compare origins old Gotham with Arkham city. The main highway for example, Is way different in origins.
Waw great job noticing this I never did but when I play over this game I noticed somtimes joker calls batman "batman" instead of bats and I thought it was weird cause he don't do that so much lol

I didn't actually know this, cool detail.
That's a very good observation.

I’ve played this game for 9 years and i didn’t know that
Honestly I never would have noticed this. It’s such a tiny little detail that makes a lot of sense in retrospect
that’s freaking crazy! i can’t believe that i didn’t notice that!
Respect to rocksteady for this detail I never even realised
I clicked on this fully expecting another "Did you know if you use Detective mode you can see Joker doesn't have a skeleton?!" short.
Then I saw who uploaded this and knew I'd learn something new. Sure enough, I don't know why I never realized that before- You never fail to amaze!
Wow i actually never realized it because it's something so minor that it flew over my head.
I’m loving these trivia shorts, I never knew this but now I love it!
Props for all these small details to both you and rocksteady
I never picked up on that. That’s a great detail.
Clayface broke character.
He probably didn't want to say Bats because he found it too cringe xD
How many times did Joker say "Bats" when compaired to "Batman" in the other Arkham games?
I just finished replaying Arkham City and this slipped by me.
Woah! I never noticed that!
I actually never knew this! Im a big fan of Arkham city too.
Wow I honestly never even thought of that
I noticed this on my second playthrough because I paid a lot more attention to Jokers scenes.
Or for the death sences joker got cured and batman is dead
How could I have never noticed this??
Another small detail which emphasizes how masterful Rocksteady is at making Batman games

Quite the factoid
Damn. Im a diehard fan of this game and honestly never knew
You should beat the entire Arkham quadrilogy without getting hit once for 40K subscribers
Given Joker calls him Batman at the beginning of Arkham Asylum I'd never have noticed this, I just assumed he used both
That should have been clear as day to Bruce, Joker always uses pet names for Batman.
Does Joker ever say "Batman" in asylum, because if not, then thats amazing attention to detail.
My one question, how did Joker fake a flatline when Batman found him in the Steel Mill?
My takeaway from this is that despite what his powers and background would suggest, Karlo isn't a method actor.
This is the definition of attention to detail
Or on the death screen, since Batman died, Joker got the cure.
I never saw this

Leave it to the Arkham saga to always notice a new detail years later and love it even more
