    Abigor kinda looks like a PS2 Fromsoft cutscene in gameplay. We've achieved true CG.

    In Sewer levels if you look very closely at yourself from third person you may notice that in fact you were the joke all along for playing it.

    I just wanted to pop in and say I'm really glad you're highlighting some more fringe games here, I'm a big lover of indie game titles and got two more from this video alone now, which I might not have found otherwise. I don't mind if you do more than souls likes too, but if that's what you like to play that's ok as well. As an aspiring game dev I definitely also appreciate you showing off some student projects. Maybe one day I will see my own up there.

    I know that it's their claim to fame now and Nioh is actually a soulslike compared to it's hack'n'slash cousin but to not even mention that Team Ninja made the rebooted Ninja Gaiden games feels weird if you are going to mention previous projects.

    While Asterigo and Crowsworn are the strongest.

    I don't think that blue/red gauge is a good idea, because it can make gameplay more restrictive. Since your only real option to win will be perfect parry and being on offence all the time.

    Pros of main Souls titles and ER that you can play the way you want. Wanna try your skills, parry and riposte? You can do that.
    Want to play safe? Get a best greatshield and poke enemy to death.

    Holy Shid when I first saw crowsworm it looks like the exact copy of hollow knight

    try the game "way of retribution" next. its on mobile but i think its ok… its like dark souls on mobile

    Crowsworn looks so much like hollow knight, it's crazy. Seems like it has a lot of similar or even identical mechanics.
    I love hollow knight and would give crowsworn a try and probably love it. I just hope it differentiates more from hollow knight than what we see here in the demo. Just to give it it's own twist as the art style and gameplay looks so similar.

    Nioh 1 biggest dog trash ever, finished the whole game without that much problem (before anyone says something) but it was literally 0 fun, with just the same enemies over and over again, won't touch nioh 2 as long as i don't know if it is the same as the first game

    You should try Draken the ancient gates. It isn't on steam but it works well on a ps2 emulator. It is like if skyrim and dark souls had a baby before either came out and it was on the PC. It isn't super souls like as it came out before dark souls, but there are similarities. You also get to ride a dragon and it is bad ass. Couldn't recommend it enough

    Abigor reminds me of those 1980's fantasy movies and I loved it! EVen the cinmatics had that quality to them that I love so much. Good job to the students who put that together!
