a change to build mode that a would do is that they made a new way to edit your builds easier to idk if you're on controller using other buttons for x type of edit to that build instead of the conventional edit way to do it, since it's not that turbo building and placing structures is that hard tbh, but editing is where the true skill gap is where it all starts, since build battles and box fights are won by the players that got better editing skills + better ping to actually do it fast, perhaps even adding some type of delay/stamina to edits could balance the things, ok sweats that love to spam this might be mad, but the thing here is that they need to be fast where you need it instead of just tunneling to an opponent everytime you see one, meaning the more you edit, slower you might become, so you really need to use them when it's truly required adding that mechanical stratetegy Sypher has on mind perhaps

Well said! I’m a returning player from a few years back and your right. I don’t even touch build mode because it’s simple, I just can’t compete. And I can’t spend the time to get better at building
and competitive is dumb any way they ranked killin higher then winning because oh people will hide please tell me the differance of hiding and hidind in a fukin box the whole game if you had let people play the game as the game with out gettin carried away there was no problem then you have things in game and take them out in competitive well dont you have to play the game the way the game is oh i guess not prhaps cmpetitive should just be pick axin then its all even oh get rid of those builds too just to be fare do you want to play now

I feel what epic could do to save fortnite is add zero build in more competitive tournaments, then the community that loves zero build more can play them. I hope fortnite build doesn't die, yes, there might be a lotta sweats in build mode but there are also a lotta sweats in zero build

I play builds because it takes a lot more skill to get a win. Alot more gratifying than having a lucky third party in the no build. I'm glad their are two modes though so casuals can have fun.
@SypherPK I had a thought a couple months back that a Building Cooldowm feature would be a good idea to reduce over building and promote more strategic builds like OG Fortnite

100% honesty here, i hate building. i started playing from the beginning and never wanted to spend the time to learn it (because i wanted to focus on other parts of life) and i was quickly left behind. despite this bias, the death of building in Fortnite will kill its playerbase even further, and also kill the game's originality and essentially what made it special. zero build is a good idea because it allows for multiple styles of play without splitting the playerbase, but the death of building will kill the game (in all honesty i dont play Fortnite much anymore anyway, usually the first week or so of a season then go back to other games)
I think it is time to have the build delay that we saw back in Chapter 1 that only lasted a day, come back in casual games but not competitive playlists. The build delay will cause spam builds to slow down and you will still be able to have cover. It will slow down the way people crank 90’s as well so we don’t have a skyline of builds.
They need to add a ranked mode. Arena is garbage.
I'm a normal player I stated ch2 s1 but today I think bilde mod is still good bc I still played it and you know what well hapnned I well die but I still haveing fun when we use challenges

They can do something like the minigun where there is a cool-down or something like that
They can mabey add kd to the game so then you play with the same people they are compared with
I enjoy the no build mode. I never liked build mode for ping. I got the 120 ping all time. Asia server means Japanese server, Because SEA server is removed from Asia region…WTF fortnite 😝

Take away no builds and rank lobby’s bases in time, limit modes so there’s less delay and listen to community. Boom 🎃
