Nier Automata is one of the best games i've played
the ending is easily the most beautiful moment i've experienced
I wish they would do the same to Kingdom Hearts, though.
I own the PC digital release, XO digital release, PS4 physical release and now the Switch physical release…
And have absolutely no regrets 😎
I know it looks good and plays good and will definitely buy this game again but I'm waiting for that digital foundry stuff. Out of pure curiosity.

Picked it up today, absolutely wonderful, my one issue with it is the lack of autosaving but besides that, flawless!!
oh and also i wish panic button (yk the ones that ported doom and doom eternal to nintendo switch) ported it instead of virtuos but oh well 🤷♂️

I can't believe it was first launched in 2017 I remember playing it like it was yesterday.
Just grabbed a copy off Amazon, it’s getting delivered tomorrow and I’m definitely looking forward to trying it out

This game is amazing. The music is some of the best in any game.
One of the greatest games of all time. Hands down.
Its ugly, the framerate drops constantly, and everything looks so off. Like really muddy and blurry. I get they worked hard on this port but at the end of the day, the switch is objectively a weak gimmicky console. Buy this game for $15 on anything else for a better experience.
way more than 20 hrs. i have 62 logged on steam and still have some things to do but i put it down for a bit to play some other stuff

Never played it before, but bought a switch copy(physical), and am loving it!!!
Just got it today. I’m so excited😁
As a owner of the game on ps4 I can say it does a good job on the switch. Even with a downgrade of resolution and textures, sad to say some are just gone and replace with a smear the game still runs at 30fps just like the other consoles. There is one thing about the switch that one ups the xbox the Nier switch version has anti-aliasing almost no jags.
I picked it up and I'm enjoying it. On swicth. It's easier for me to update than the ps4.
I highly recommend customizing the controls to your liking because it makes the gameplay way smoother and easy to control because their choice of button layout can kinda get on its own way
I love how every time an “impossible” port comes to switch and works good it’s the best looking on switch 😂

I played this on PS4. As mentioned, if you have access to any of the other ports, there is really no reason to get the Switch port as it is inferior. Only plus is being able to play handheld. If you have SteamDeck then probably better to go with that.

nier automata is my most favorite game i never played. i mostly watched story through playthtoughs and cutscenes in youtube. i dont have ps4 xbox or gaming pc. just bought a switch this year and i accepted that i may not be able to play this game ever. so this port is certainly a gift for me

bruh it's squre enix. they got like millions of dollars probably. i agree with supporting any devs but it becomes less of an issue if you just use the review copy when it's a company that already makes tons of money off of series like final fantasy.
I bought it 2 days ago and finished ending A today and I gotta say, that this game is truly one of the best impressive things that I've landed my hands on.
Totally would recommend it to anyone who's hesitating on it.

I don't understand people who say this 1:32, I've heard a lot of people saying that they thought the game looked kinda generic but they heard good things about it so they gave it a shot and they were positively surprised. The reason I wanted to play Nier was because it had a really distinct art direction that I haven't seen before, please people, I'd love to know, what are some things that on the surface level look like Nier? I'm genuinely curious
