  1. i'm just sat here in awe. this is MASSIVE for people who can't play bc of disability or injury or what have you, but still want to play. this is actually insane. I'm losing it a little bit this is such a huge step for accessibility. i might actually cry from joy

  2. It feels like you lose a bit of the game when you play it this way

  3. This is really amazing. It is definitely harder than vr, because well, you know. Even then,
Like the pinned comment said, this is great for people who need accessibility options.

  4. I like how he’s just casually talking about the mod well beating magic with a controller

  5. oh my god
    I WAS AN OG
I WAS HERE AT 20K I AM OG OMG ITS BEEN SO LONG

  6. I've once played beat saber with a quest 2 and a ps move with one PSEYE

  7. Something kinda goofi is the fact this is giving 115 cuts every single cut. Kinda cheese if you think about it for those who play this and get good on controller, free 100% on every level they play

  8. you CAN use 2 mice, 1 mouse, a controller, a kinect, opentrack, nuitrack, kinect led balls, a controller, 2 goy cpns, the list goes on with driver4vr tho…

  9. This mod could of help me a year ago when I didn't have a vr and wanted to play 😀 now some weeks ago I got a vr and this comes out. just my luck 😀

  10. I can see this being really useful if you're working on a custom map and want to see how it feels in game without putting your headset on.

But also if you're traveling and have a gaming laptop, being able to play without a headset is going to be a major advantage if you find new customs you want to try but don't have your headset with you.

  11. Can you get mods on play station 4-5 because if you could, I wish this mod came before I got a headset

  12. Imagine the controllers he was using turned out to be oculus quest 2 controllers lol

  13. I guess it's a nice idea and possibly passable implementation, usable for some map testing, and for people who actually can't afford a headset. But it's not the same thing with 2 axis per stick and auto-position. I would hate it if people avoid getting a VR headset because of this. Beat Saber is one of the mechanically solid VR games, so why would you go out of your way to not play it in VR?

Things you'll miss out on without VR:
    – Depth perception (important especially in difficult and dense maps, and sometimes to distinguish the cubes from the background)
    – environment scale and immersion
    – more intense lighting in headset, (larger FOV, 3D)
    – spatial slice sounds
    – feeling of slicing through the blocks by hand
    – body movement (some custom maps are designed to make you dance in a certain way, with how the blocks are placed, utilizing newton's third law)
    – adrenaline and endorphins from physical movement
