    I just realised something.

    The young girl in the pendant looks like Elly. Abel (the first incarnation of Fei that was present on the ship) was looking for his mother when he came into contact with Zohar/Wave Existance. Z/WE used Kadomy to create Elly based on Abel's desire to find his mother. If the girl in captain's pendant is indeed Abel's mother then I guess the captain was his grandfather.

    Whatever happened to games like this? Seriously, the best stories ever told were in the late 90s, xenogears, chrono cross, Lunar silver star story, legend of dragoon and wild arms just to name a few. The talent that created these games, unbelievable. Such great memories and days playing these games with friends after school and on long weekends, Never get that back again……

    You can pinpoint when the English dubbing ran out of money. Right after Bart's line of, "He'll come back, he promised us he would! I know it."

    They didn't even bother dubbing over Seki Tomokazu's "Oiiiiii".

    Why are there a repeat of cutscenes in the end? Are they slightly different? (Just beat the game about an hour ago)

    uhm, what's the point of original audio when we don't get subtitles to understand them with?
    xenogears 2.0 has original audio and subtitles

    JFC, I forgot this game literally cold opens with a black hole and a sentient AI gunning down survivor ships.

    Why didn’t this get an anime, and Tales of * got like 10.

    Elly was interesting. Sadly this didn’t take off as an anime series like “Xenosaga”.
