Did people really think Armored Core was going to play like a souls game? That would be such a betrayal of the franchise, at that point they might as well make a new ip.

I think Armored Core "won't be a Souls-game" the same way that Sekiro "wasn't a Souls-game." I expect awesome From bosses, and a ridiculously deep combat system.
High on Life being a "serviceable shooter" is perfectly okay with me. I didn't expect gameplay to blow me out of the water, I just saw it more as a new vehicle for more of that Rick & Morty-style humor and to hear that it delivers in that regard, coupled with its availability on game pass is exactly where it needed to hit for me
I want insomniac to make a Daredevil game because it would fit into the world they've already built for their Spider-Man games
After Spider-Man and wolverine I want to insomniac to make games based on Daredevil, punisher, blade, Ghost Rider and Hulk and then my 90s early 2000s Marvel nostalgia will be complete

This channel gets super hard on's for Spiderman and Playstation in general. Spiderman on PS4 was mid at best, poor rip off of Arkham style gameplay and I never even gave Miles Morales a try because it looked exactly the same. Who honestly cares? Are they going to make a new version of New York? Make the swinging any better? This franchise is capped at mid with nowhere else to go.
