Coming from an Xbox enthusiast it's these kind of exclusive that make me jealous games like Horizon zero Dawn which is very underrated which is crazy they say cuz I played both games and they are absolutely outstanding
This game has been treated unfairly at the game awards. 7 nominis and not a single award. This is so ridiculous. How can a masterpiece like this didn't get a single award. Not even in audio design and let's be honest no other game focused so hard on there music und soundtracks. This whole game awards shit show is pure subjective. No objectivity as it should be

I only played Horizon Zero Dawn this year on PC for the first time as Breath of the Wild had my time in 2017. Having finished Zero Dawn, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it and has become my new favourite game after Xenoblade Chronicles.
Good enough to get the Platinum for both! Looking forward to the third.
I dont understand why large explorable areas filled with astounding view is called empty? if for some reason anyone who does not find concept of exploration appealing should play another game and not shape Horizon to something that is not.
I actually enjoyed the bandit camps. It is a nice break from facing machines all the time

Back then, Someone even told me That A new killzone game got canceled so they made Horzion, I should’ve gotten the vibe when I saw the design for The robots
Horizon is so close to being a master piece. I LOVE the world of it, it's just not a fun world to explore when it's so padded with fetch quests and markers all over the map. I want to explore what might be behind that mountain range in the distance, not already knowing because it's already a marker on the map. Oh and also, why can we STILL not ride the T-REX? Great game, not fantastic game.
Then again these things are very subjective. For me BotW perfected exploration and Elden ring followed it's tracks on how to build an open world, but a lot of people seem to not agree, and that's a good thing. Something for everyone
I hope that suicide squad kills the justice league won't be a disappointment like gotham knights then again rocksteady working on it it's hopeful
The Side Quests in Forbidden west are awesome. I recently finished the game and started playing the sides, its amazing how in depth some of them are.
zero dawn it felt like yesterday when i bought it and cried at every questo cause of the beautiful art, story, music EVERYTHING
Zero Dawn is one of those “Never forget your first play through for the rest of your life” kinda games. Truly a masterpiece and I can’t wait to play FW when it comes to PC
What I love about forbidden west, is that you’ll randomly come across strong machines at random locations. I remember I was just walking around for fun killing small machines in a location with no strong machines on the map… and randomly I heard an Apex ThunderJaw behind from a distance and as I turned around, it’s running straight at me! Like where the fuck did you come from!?
For a game with explosions and giant robots, there is something so beautifully quiet and serene about HZD.
I think I like Forbidden West better as a game just bc of the combat and scope. But the first one has a better feel, of going at it alone and being so competent and skilled to take on whatever is out there. Or sit quietly in one of the most beautiful post apocalyptic worlds.
HZD and Forbidden West are some of the best games ofd all time

I liked the bandit camps in the first one personally. They were primitive and poorly constructed just like a real bandit camp would be in a post apocalyptic world
