    This is a big mistake, I don't thank James Gunn understands game development and how things change mid project and when it's different from film, last minutes changes can be made to a movie, where as in a game last minute big changes to story and characters is harder to change. There is a history of movie-tie in games don't often work there are maybe 2-3 games total that actually were as good or better than the movie.

    In my opinion he doesn't have the fans best interest in mind, at least on the film side of things. Games take a minute to make so of something gets green lit now we won't see it until like five years from now, so idk if that the best option.

    I feel like it will be a combination of things like for starters, I think we’ll have the Superman movie then a game that follows the Superman from the movie not necessarily a tie in that is just the movie in vg form but rather it adds to the mythology of the franchise like let’s say Arkham asylum was a movie, then the game that follows us something a kin to Arkham city that follows the story weaving in and out of the progressive over arcing yet not limited story telling of these franchises

    I Like what James Gunn is doing I do think the Snyder verse is at a end and it wasn’t working and i know he actually like the source material so if anyone could make this work is james

    I don't know if I want to see any video games that are integral to understanding the plot of the DCU going forward. That would make the normie critics even more unbearable than they are already, if that's even possible. But if they could use the new world created by the DCU as a sandbox to create fun or compelling stories that, while worth experiencing and taking place in the same universe as the films, are capable of standing on their own (think like Moon Knight and Werewolf By Night in the MCU) I think that would be best.

    So with that being said: James. Buddy. Boobalah. You introduced Bloodsport as an extremely cool character with a lot of guns. Video games often star cool characters with lots of guns. You also implied he has had various adventures that were not vital for all filmgoers to see in order to enjoy his movie. And with the newest I-don't-even-care-what-it-is from Cyberpunk, we know that Idris Elba is willing to perform in video games.

    C'mon. C'mooooooooon.

    I’m very keen for the Wonder Woman game and Suicide Squad of course, but I’m also very interested to see what characters will get DCU games.

    Generally not a fan of melti media canon. I prefer games getting to do whatever they want without worries of it fitting in or if they use X character, it has to be the one seen elsewhere. I don't think Star Wars is the same as DC. Less wiggle room I think.

    I feel like he should make games kinda on the same path as insomniac Spider-Man or even GOTG having there own iconic in game skins including free updates on movie skin’s simply but I sure hope he makes more DC RPG

    As long as they are not shameless cash grabs like all the MCU games or Amazing Spider-Man . But I don't think that would fly these days. Or maybe the could continue the Snyder verse but as video games lol Henry loves video games have Man of Steel 2 be a video game lol

    I personally HATE massive cross medium interconnectivity like that! I much prefer when things like the comics, movies, tv shows, animated series, and games remain separate and take place within their own universe. I hear a lot of talk about "well Star Wars made it work!!!", but I disagree. I don't even really like how this is handled by Star Wars either, and I'm worried that this is gonna be a trainwreck over at DC. I love DC, they have so many amazing characters and stories, but they consistently make terrible decisions in my opinion. This massive push for everything to be connected seems like another attempt by DC to profit off of the popularity and success of the MCU. They already tried that once with the DCEU which was a huge flop and had to be completely rebooted lol. I much prefer how Marvel handles this sort of thing. The comics, MCU Projects (movies and shows), and games accent each other and can have some crossover via the multiverse but they aren't all shoehorned together into one big forced interconnected story. If y'all are down for this, good for you, I hope you enjoy it. For me however, I'm not excited for this at all, I'd much prefer that everything remain separate.

    A deathstroke or a good green lantern game would be dope. Green lantern has so much potential. I want it to follow the gow formula in terms of world building. Have like 3 or 4 big open worlds that have hella stuff to do in them and make the ring combat move smoothly between fighting on ground and air.

    As long as the gameplay and story are fun and engaging thats all that matters but personally I would like to explore different stories then just what we on the big screen

    I am kinda happy they are connected scince the new universe is going to have a new batman and its unlikely that version will get a movie so this way we can get a story with that version

    This is going to be a disaster. Already MCU is ruined by compulsory purchase of Disney Plus to understand Phase 4.
    If this applies to games then DCEU better prepare to lose a lot of money.
