I’ve play tested these mods for a couple hours now and they all add a little something to enhance the way you play. Everything from visual enhancements to weapon rebalances are covered for a total overhaul. Great Video! This format was really fun to watch (top XX mods i mean) Its a classic and really well done!
I'm really glad you didn't include any spoilers. Obviously you took time and effort into choosing the right clips for this video. Thanks for that!
Although there is one minor spoiler but nothing worth mentioning 🙂
Some mods that i would like to see:
– Instead of the Special weapon slot, i would prefer two Primary slots. Then you could use any weapon combination you like. For example, you could use a Sniper Rifle and LMG in same time. Or shotgun and assault rifle. No limits on combinations, you could even carry two LMG's at once if you want, or two Sniper rifles.
– Many new guns added, less old cowboy weapons and more modern weapons (but not too modern either)
– More melee weapons, something that looks less like Mad Max and more realistic. And most of the melee weapons should have similar stats to be balanced. For example the Fire Axe is much worse than the Superior Baseball Axe, but they are basically the same thing. And it makes no sense that the Fire Axe is weak since it's supposed to be a strong tool.
– The ability to sit down on chairs, at least in the camps
– More ambient music, especially when reading documents and story progress, and while spending time in the camp
– Hunger and thirst system, cooking food, camping, fishing etc. for example 1 meal would give you several hours of stamina buff, and if you don't eat in a long time you have much less stamina and health
– When picking up a document, flyer or historical markers, i would like to have an option to 'read now' instead of searching for the file in my inventory
– Less female enemies. I don't know about others but i'm constantly fighting against women in Ambush camps and other human enemies. There's always just one or two men, and the rest are women. It's like women are running the bandits now. It feels goofy and gimmicky because in the real world, you would fight more men than women. Women would be a minority in bandit groups. And i don't mean to start a political correctness war or something, it's just that men are more dangerous and prone to become bandits. Even today there are more men involved in gangs. Women don't even sound dangerous when they're yelling behind cover. They are bandits, they should be dangerous like Rippers. I shouldn't feel sorry for attacking them. Against so many women i always feel like i'm fighting innocent campers who are just surviving against zombies, they don't feel like murderers and robbers. Sometimes i forget they are bandits.
– Decrease damage from the birds/crows/ravens. They do so much damage it's unbelievable, they do more damage than any other enemy. One bird hit takes out more health than a sniper bullet, it's nonsense.. I spend all my bandages just trying to burn out the bird's nest because they're constantly hitting me.
