I think that the MoM locked a darkness inside him a long time ago and thats how he knows this is even possible. I think it happened when al his friends were killed by the 13 darknesses

Okay I know it’s still up in the air to how exactly Brain appears as himself and Luxu in two different timelines and how exactly that was possible but for Brains actual form, what I just figured out after looking back on the cutscenes is that to escape into the next life/future, that person needs a medium and people who have memories of them to be brought back and if Ephemer was the one to build Scala Ad Caelum and Sigurd who was already probably working under some organization that Ephemer started returned Brains Hat to him then thats how this can make a lot more sense. As to how he’s linked with Luxu. That beats me

I think Luxu don't steal Brain body, it's more like copy his Face and age, like print Brain in himself, maybe thats the reason that Brain it's safe.
I find it funny how fans used to shit on Normura for making the games convoluted, and even nonsensical to many players, yet now that this revelation has come out, almost everyone is praising the unexpected plot twist and how brilliant and forward-thinking Normura was all this time.
That's why sometimes it's better to just shut the f*** up and let things play out before you go judging whether the story is coherent or not.

You know HMK Ichigo and Hollow Ichigo are cimilar to Sora and Roxas like one is wearing white the other wearing black Hollow Ichigo also uses a fighting style for over powering his enemies like what Roxas does in combat, Sora and Ichigo both had an inner strugglle the other version of themselves wanting to take them over and not only that Ichigo's bankai sword has a chain hanging from the sword cimilar to a keyblade chain and at the end of the chain is a crown cimilar to the crown emblem in Kingdom hearts.

So is there any explanation as to how Lauriam Ven etc travelled through time. Since they didn't have a medium in the future. Same goes for the foretellers in the end of Kh 3. Since luxu summoned then. How does that work.

maybe luxu, like MoM is formless and can take forms of other people like the darkness can.
So if those who have the entity Darkness in them needs to be killed then we better hope that Vanitas actually did die in KH3 and is'nt just a time travelling version cuz if Vanitas is still in Ventus then…
I know I'm late to finally see the ending. But OMG what unexpected events. Still have lots of questions and wish you can still cover HMK.
okay so I'm thinking the lady holding baby Nort is obviously his mother but is also Brain's daughter. because she has very similar features to Brain including the eyes. and I'm also thinking the old man is Brain taking baby Nort to Destiny Islands for whatever reason. why? because in Dark Road Baldur spoke of Eraqus's grandfather who is Brain. what they also said was they didnt know what happened to him. thats because Brain/old guy had taken to Xehanort to Destiny Islands and looked after him, which explains why no one knows where Brain went. and so the lady who is Xehanort's mother had another child a year or two later, who is Eraqus. because Eraqus does seem to inherit a lot of her features and Brain's. meaning Xehanort and Eraqus are brothers.

the six darkness mean the remaining 6 after the strongest 7 darkness are locked inside the 5 masters and luxu and mom. For those 6, 5 will be locked inside the 5 union leaders and one will be trapped in the real daybreak town but not the data version.
Its kinda confusing because in KH3 Xigbar shows up with the other foretellers who state him to be Luxu…so is it the same reality or different and is Xigbar actually Sigburd?
Also I loved every minute of Union X, still can't believe it ended this way.😢
Doesn’t this mean that the survivors of the keyblade war which is Ventus, Elrena, Laurium, Brain, Skuld, Ephemer, and the player are the 7 lights within the 13 darknesses
You know what is the strangest idea about all of this… the Player character reincarnates into Xehanort, who causes all of this pain and suffering… but we as the player figuratively (but not in universe) can say that we reincarnate into Sora, as we take control of him when it is his turn to save the multiverse. So in a strange, roundabout way… we fight the monster we gave rise to… as the hero we aspired to be in the first place.
