MW2 is out and after playing for a couple months I decided to revisit some old gameplays and clips on my computer to compare the 2 Call of Duty games. Modern Warfare 2 is a great game but in my opinion, lacks life and FUN. Sure, you can have fun on it, but it’s so limited in terms of game modes, maps and customization it makes it hard to enjoy sometimes. Modern Warfare 2019 will forever be cherished in my hearts and many, so I hope you enjoy these new and unused funny moments in MW SND!

Before you ask – No, I'm not returning to MW2019 and I'm sticking with MWII for the foreseeable future. I'm really banking on Season 2 in February to do some saving for the multiplayer and really do some necessary refreshing. MW2019 will always be a special game to me and many, so I hope you enjoy the gameplay and comment below your thoughts on MW vs MWII!

There's so much I miss about this game.
The visual style was more pleasing imo – MWII has this odd matte/clay look to everything.
The announcers sounded more cool.
I thought the operators were more cool too.
The music was more varied and overall better (The uplifting victory theme, the classic Modern Warfare style guitar riffs, the tense music in the final moments of a game, etc).
The UI was better.
There was more customization and freely earnable cosmetics.
The movement and overall responsiveness was so, so much better.

I miss the old AI and gunplay, but I don't miss the sweatiness from the movement, tho I slide canceled a lot
funny how prolly most of the people in these comments at one point hated MW19 for how innovative it was. Now look at everyone missing it

This was so much more interesting to watch compared to MW2, I feel like Infinity Ward focused too much on a more realistic experience rather than a fun one and it shows. I’ll be honest, I didn’t enjoy MW19 as much as previous entries in the franchise but something I feel was done very well was the movement and snappy gunplay. MW2 has too much visual clutter, a shit perk system, a watered down Warzone experience, and lacks a proper skill gap. I understand why slide canceling was removed but what’s it been replaced with is underwhelming to say the least.

No, MW2 is not a huge downgrade in most ways. But this game just has the BEST feel to it. So satisfying in basically every way
