Do you want Marvel's Spider-Man 2 to have some multiverse elements?
I don't think it will be the multiverse but just Imagine that within the game your playing as both Miles and Pete just doing a city crime check and as your a few in you hear a large andry pissed off scream from the other side of New York only to find out that you have to hunt down the Hulk with both Miles and Pete as like future DLC, that IMHO would go Crazy.

I think this game should be grounded like the first 2 maybe the 4th or 5th game we can introduce the mutiverse I think we all just think it's too soon but hey it's insomniac and in insomniac we trust

I would love a game with Ghost-Spider. Ive loved the recent story lines from her , especially GwenVerse. Hope they make a game with her in it!

Ya know what, actually? They should really just stick (no pun intended) with Peter and Miles only, and then establish more of the MGU including both Wolverine and hopefully Camoflaj Studios’ VR Iron Man, as well (given a comment that I have previously made on one of Caboose’s Marvel’s Wolverine videos), and then wait for maybe 2-3 decades to do something like Secret Wars and a build up to it, and then we can have an Insomniac Spider-Verse.
I mean if it’s a DLC situation I’m not mad, but i rather this be focused and self contained in the insomniac universe
I beg that if they do a multiverse story, its somewhat separate (at least for now). Like they could have a ghost-spider cameo with her coming from another universe which'd then lead into a solo gwen game where she traverses the multiverse, separating her from crowding the other 2 spidermen whilst still giving us a gwen game
If they do add multi verse stuff into these Spiderman games I would like to see it and how it works cuz it sounds cool. I think putting it in a dlc and having the movie be the inspiration for the entire dlc and they could do the entire multiverse thing and we see everything happen again from playstation spider mans point of view. Crazy idea but sounds fun

Maybe a side mission with some fun implication or Easter egg with the multiverse, but idk if I want that in the main story. I’m burnt out on the multiverse being in so many MCU movies and I don’t think it’s necessary.
I think people are reading way too much into the "world shifting" concept as literally jumping between worlds. I think what Insomniac is actually implying is emphasis on switching perspectives between multiple characters like Peter, Miles, and Venom during gameplay; kinda like GTA V's system

I doubt the multiverse will make an appearance. I mean, Insomniac is already tackling the Black Suit, Venom, Harry's return (and possible death), Kraven, this story might be Kraven's last hunt as well, we have Yuri on the side being Wraith, and Green Goblin to set up (too many Easter eggs and references to him for it to only be referential).
There's a lot going on in this game already for there to be an actual trip to the multiverse or bringing in other Spider characters like Gwen or anyone else. I know Spider-Verse 2 releases this year, but I don't really see it having too much bearing on Marvel's Spider-Man 2 besides outfits. Maybe some reference to multiversal travel, but I don't see Insomniac going there in only their second game.
If I had to guess, this leak is banking on the hype of Spider-Verse 2 to appear credible.
I wish it was a Spider-Man and the defenders vs the villains lol… and at least 1 mission with dr strange and other with the avengers 🥲( maybe just 2 avengers, but I will love to see that )

Tbh…..No. To me Spider-Man PS should be a self contained story and the addition of a multiverse would add too much. It’d just over complicate the world of Insomniac Spider-Man. And they still a lot of rogues and stories they could tell without adding a multiverse. They should just hold off that idea. That’s just my opinion though.

Not for Spider-Man, would it be cool? Hell yeah but I also think if they really want to do it then they should build up the Insomniac universe and give us a possible Marvel Universe game tackling the multiverse.
I think it could work it just couldnt be at the beginning, just to let players get used to it. Or have that be the multiplayer mode. I know I don’t need to say this bout insomniac, but please don’t end up like avengers.

Your looking at this the wrong way I'm thinking different spidermans or spider women each new spiderman game is a different Spiderman or women and different looking world not the same Peter different Peter's and miles and Gwen and so on 2099 spiderman game in his world playing as him or spider Gwen and her new York or spider noir soooo many spider ppl so many world and so many different ways to play as a spider super hero I'm down and ready
