it makes sense that there's no disc, Sony probably wants people who own the digital only PS5 to actually be able to play the game that they bought this big fancy set for

I went for the Avatar collectors edition instead. It has a physical copy and the figure is bigger at 36 inches, plus a few books ect so it's better price wise imo. As a disc collector it's a shame it's a digital only. I'm debating if I should still preorder it but then just sell the digital code and buy it physically on release

Was gonna get the collectors edition but nah man it comes with much less for a higher price, and ye why are u giving me a steelbook with no disc in it?💔
My problem with it is the fact that you get less than other collectors editions for the same price. God of War jotnar edition and cyberpunk 2077 and others come with a lot more stuff this is just a steel book case and a huge statue. I would have rather seen a physical edition of the deluxe and gotten a steel book case for like $100

I dont consider Collector Edition of games rip-offs because they are created for one or few people that i would never be part of those few for now. No matter what there is always someone out there with so much money they don't know what to do with and when they love a game company and their games, can easily throw away money like that

This collectors edition is not worth the price. You get the same color costumes as if you preordered the digital deluxe edition, no soundtracks, no hard disc copy again! The statue is nice but not worth this price especially when your not getting a disc for the steel book copy. This collectors edition is kinda mediocre

To be fair too, from 2018 to 2023, inflation jumped up, and games themselves went up. It does bug me that we don’t get a physical copy, but other than that, I’m excited to receive the collector’s edition!

Detailed 19 inch statue for 150 of the value is very good! Find any marvel statue of that size and detail for less than 250-300 dollars.
