BO4 LOVER OR HATER GANG!?
Honestly? Good riddance. This game was easily one of the worst entries in the series. No campaign, heavy emphasis on BR, predatory monetization (including the dlc pass and loot boxes), ridiculous cosmetics, and a drastic lack of content at launch. It's unfortunate that Vanguard and now MW2 may dethrone BO4 as the worst entry…
bo4 on Xbox is thriving, you can find a TDM match in less then 10 seconds. It must be dead on PS4
for me, bo4 zombies was fun, but the multiplayer was alwas so hard to play cuz there were a lot of tryhard players since the begining, i ended angry to only loose, so i only played zombies untill the end of bo4
and i really hated the lootbox stuff, you couldn't get any new weapon by your own like in any other cod
I just wanna play firing range, and the old school zombies again.
even with all the hate i gave this game, its one of my favourite titles by far. zombies was fun (not talking about quality), multiplayer was fun and action packed, and still to this day i prefer blackout to warzone.
Bo4 was terrible. Cod refuses to not do a switch up on everything even if it’s good. Bo3 had everything perfect and just for the sake of changing it they created a 10 times worse version of bo3

Game would probably have a resurgence if it wasn't the only COD game aside from 3 and the console version of 2 that wasn't released on Steam like every game before it and after for some reason. Still not sure why Activison are shoving their noses up to free money but they've never seemed the brightest,

Its far from dead, but its COD, so mass migration of the player base is intrinsic to the franchise design of yearly releases, hence a relatively static amount of butter, but an ever increasing amount of bread. Given the release frequency it's probably the most fractured and spread out assortment of players over a franchise in all of gaming tbf.
