this may be the first and only time i've been this excited for a sims expansion for the sims 4 and one that i actually intend on buying at RRP at that!

I really loathe your distain for landlords when you kill your sims
If you get one prego will they move out like roommates
I appreciate them listening about people wanting more realism but I don’t think landlord simulator was the way to go with it. I think most people just wanted the ability to make own apartments and have multi family units. The whole evicting and stuff is a little too much especially given this economy 😭 sims is supposed to be escapism for a lot of people
I don’t think anyone’s first wish was to be a landlord. We just want to build apartments so we aren’t stuck with the weird wall heights, and permanent door and window placements from San Myshuno 😭
I had the same question as you, they haven’t touched on how you would play as a TENANT in this pack, which concerns me a little bit, because knowing the Sims team, they would make this all about being a landlord and the only way you can build apartments is if you are going to manage them. Probably because we can already be tenants in San Myshuno and Evergreen Harbor. I really hope that’s not the case, but I can honestly see them dropping the ball like that lol

Question: Let's say you get the early bird stuff and I don't. You build a lot that has some of the early bird items. I download your lot. Does that stuff go away in my game?
Man I hate landlords so much. I really respect lilsimsie for her stance on landlords. People don't understand that landlords are in position of power over peoples living enviroment and how stressful it can be to have a slumlord. I've worked in housing for years and am leaving due to seeing all the horrid conditions landlords put people in so they are forced to either move or take them to court which is so tramatic and time consuming. Your home enviroment shouldn't be based on if the owner likes you enough to get decent quality housing or have to fight to prove your being discriminated against becuse that's basically any court fight is convincing people you're being mistreated and that's just so shitty. It happens so casually to. It's honestly heartbreaking and soul crushing. My heart goes out to everyone whos ever had to deal with a landlord who takes advantage of them and has to deal with rude and sh*tty lawyers.

I saw that there is a max with how much you can get for rent.
It is weird that they'd put a radiator inside a home that's meant to be in a tropical/Southeast Asian region. 😅 Would've made more sense to put a standing fan or those portable ACs. Either way, as a Malaysian I'm so excited for this! It felt so nice to see the name "Sungai Point", which just means "River Point" 🥰
I wonder if we build a bar or cafe in shared space. Does it become a "general lot" where a staff might actually automatically be available.

I’m super excited for this pack, I’ve been trying to make town houses and shared spaces for years but there was never no locked command to where the sims can’t and can’t go. 😭even if you tried locking doors for specific sims.
