update: i just got paid rent in my main culprit save, so i think it might have actually been my fault and not a glitch LOL (it took like 2.5 weeks to get it, so i thought it was bugged! 😭)
can childish sims play with marbles? Can Teens/adults Collect marbles?
I wish we can get thieves that can break into our homes like sims 2 😢
My biggest question is how this style of rental will interact with the other existing apartments in San myshyno and eco living. Will we be able to buy them as landlords? Will we have options for stuff like tenant revolts now?
This features sound unnecessary. For the game to function that way… You can just use mods and pretend 🤷🏻♀️
Somehow I don't think the pack is worth it for me. I liked San Mayshuno more but also its a double edged sword, you get more apartments, as well as with Eco Lifestyles pack and you can make your own in this one which you can't do in the previous 2. It feels like recycled content we could have gotten in the other packs. Plus with the landlord feature you can do, I feel it would drive me absolutely nuts with the tenants not paying and constantly breaking things. Sorry if this didn't make any sense, I'm not sure how else to explain my thoughts..
I wish there will finally be a Middle Eastren representation in the sims or Jewish representation…
Jamaican culture and decor is so close to south east Asia and I didn't even realize it even though my mom is part south east 😂. I can't wait to make my actually life growing up with this pack because everyone the build doors, tiles the marbles and the clothes are so similar to what I grew up with 🥰
Man I wish the sims would also make it possible to have a business/ residential lot. So we could make lil cafes with an apartment on top
All honesty I have been waiting for Sims to do a Landlord or rent where I can build apartments and set my own rent to get money like I was waiting and waiting for it to come out for many years since Sims was released I was waiting for them to implement it into the game with out having to download mods
I really hate when they do that thing where they add "game play" then have the sim disappear during the game play. Leaving you outside. Legit feels like you went to get drinks with your friends at the club but didn't get let in. sims 3 did game play beautifully but sims 4…..
really the only thing ive been excited about from this pack is apartments in other worlds lol

I don't mind the short aspirations because it means we can select more than one, but I would like to have more reward traits, those that you can buy! Sure, you get the trait with each aspiration, but then you get all of these points that you can't use because the traits in the shop are few and not very good.
Honestly, while I get everyone's disappointment with the world, that's the least important reason I'm buying this pack. To be honest we have so many worlds now and I rarely play in about half of them. But the rental gameplay has the potential to change the vibe of just about any world we already have. Tiny house villages for Eco Lifestyle, micro apartments in City Living, trailer parks in Moodwood Mills… I'm excited.

The Boulder is a play on the character 'the boulder' from Avatar The Last Airbender – who was modeled after 'The Rock'. It looks like they combined it for the Sims.
i might enjoy playing for rent because renting houses is super common here in philippines and i really wanna try the pack.
as someone who does real estate in a college town, I am sooo excited for this pack in brichester. I have already made a nice apartment complex that is spacious, and it's rent will certainly be high just as that type of apartment would be irl. I plan to make smaller, less spacious student living as well potentially on campus. Most schools have more than one type of dorm, and since each school in brichester has two dorm buildings, its the perfect opportunity to make one bedroom vs two bedroom rooms or even do more beds instead per room. This is so exciting!!

I wish the seasons pack would be refreshed, I would like to see hail, icicles, frost, dynamic grass that goes dormant and grows, better snow depth and flooding etc 🎉
This just annoying me because I remember being able to just create your own world I the sims 2. Perhaps it was only a playstation thing? But whyyyy isn't that an option anymore :/
The aspirations part made me laugh my fuckin ass off cant lie, just the thought of part of someones life goal being to learn how to use a certain toilet 😂
there was such a missed opportunity to add burglars with this pack!! or even adding a new job, maybe a new branch for the criminal career? it would be so cool with the breaking and entering aspect of this pack, and having OTHER townies break into your home sounds so chaotic and funny. like imagine mortimer goth breaking into your small, needs TLC apartment whilst he lives in a mansion or something. it could've been so entertaining and made this pack more of a sellout. (burglars should be basegame cos they have me a HEARTATTACK everytime they appeared in my house in the sims 3, but i would've been happy if they were exclusive with this pack, at least they'd exist 🤷♀)
I hate having to deal with too many sims so moving out the family but keeping them close way more easily is gonna be a game changer
Do wish I could get this pack it seems nice to have the gameplay and build, but of course $40 is too much, wish it could be gifted like on steam or something
Though the world for this pack does look very small

tbh i stopped paying sims without mods bc of bad moodlets lol im like yea back to mods but i only play sims for a short amount of time cuz it gets boring and basic

this pack and the new trait seems very distasteful to me, honestly. as a poor person, i could not imagine why another poor person would want to think of landlords in their game, considering me and others have had to file for bankruptcy to not be evicted from our subpar homes recently. and as an autistic person, i will venture to say that the 'cringe' trait is just blatant ableism. cringe culture relies on autistic people to thrive and was based on us to begin with(along with fatphobia, which is also applicable to me), and the description for the trait is one i have seen used for autists many, maaany times. it is so so disappointing that they could have made a non-derogatory/infantilising autism trait, but they decided it would be better suited to be called 'cringe' and to make the sim 'obnoxious'. and if i nitpick, i hate that the wise trait is age-locked to elders; age does not automatically grant you emotional maturity or wisdom, old people just use that to demand respect and feel better than younger people more than half of the time.
I think the reason you can’t do the rentals for beachfront and penthouse lots is because of no basement building ability on those types of lots. It sucks, but it makes sense
I must say, I was most excited about the new world. Everytime new pack comes out I am most excited about the words and Tomarang looked so good in the pictures and in the trailer but the reality is disappointing. It has so much potential but it is not fulfilled. I am excited about the gameplay and the nosy feature.. cannot wait for Mr. Stanley Humphrey to get into breaking and stealing rags to riches.. 😁
