  2. The absolute state of animation in DBZ Kakarot is simply gorgeous. and i hope the new DB Sparking Zero also has amazing animations with such care for each detail

  3. Tenkaichi 3 is still the best dbz game, there's pieces of other dbz games that are good. Dbz kakorot really suffered trying to be a rpg, it's boring..if it was just like budokai 1 but remained nearly the same removing all the on screen numbers, it would have been a game of the year contender. It just wasn't fun playing it, I for some reason enjoyed dragon ball sagas more… but these "open world" dbz games… all lack making you feel like the anime did. Combat is too slow, flying is way too slow and limited, world exploration is boring, there's for no good reason very boring constant battles and flight collections,

    Unreal engine dbz I thought was setting a good example of what fans kind of wanted… big empty spots with a few cities… dbz if it wants to make a open world game should consider making a custom story, where you start off a lot weaker with custom characters and work your way up in a alternative universe with a bunch of small dense worlds and one big procedurally generated one with a few cities for battles.

    Then you could make it mmo, play test it though a lot make sure it's good, and boom. Just imagine Megaton rainfall but 3rd person with tenkaichi fighting, way smaller planet, way less cities only some being procedurally generated, and it could even be 2d anime sprites with 3d world design. Like a open world, better looking dragon ball densetsu that plays like tenkaichi but feels like superman returns mixed with Megaton rainfall.

    As far as dbz games go though, it's a safe bet just studying tenkaichi 3 and budokai 1 and combining them both, dbz kakorot basically only messed up the world exploration by not being what we all expected from dbz budokai 3… if dbz kakorot kept its cinematics and playstyle but was level based like budokai 1… it would have been great.

    You know what? It's probably too late but… we could just have budokai 1 story mode remade, give it dbz kakorot graphics, and the huge roster and improvements of budokai 3 with today's dbz kakorot graphics and make the game play way faster. Call it budokai 4.. fighter z wasn't it for me, it played kind of alright but a lack of block and dodge… eh… i was just spamming every button and winning it didn't feel like I was even playing it… and the super limited pay wall characters that didn't transform.. and the terrible walk around menu… it's almost like someone wanted players to dislike the game. Fighterz absolutely looks amazing. But it falls short.

  4. Raging Blast 2 is the last cool game when it comes to DBZ, though Tenkaichi 3 is the best of all time
