Riddler made sure he had a backup plan for people trying to take glitchy shortcuts. Glitching to that mission early, causing it to break the game, was Riddler's way of defeating us.

I guess I'm just one of those gamers that believes in playing the game as it was meant too.i mean it sounds pretty boring to me just to mod your way through a game.just my opinion

I'm starting to think that the universe is a video game for God. All the weird mysterious shit that happens is programming slop and every once in while through religion or magic, we backdoor the programming. Only problem is it can break our game.

Reminds me of that one riddler book where, no matter what you do, if you follow the book's directions, it always leads to a bad end, usually the gruesome death of batman. Like those 'choose your own adventure books', if anybody read those. The only way to get the good ending is to stop playing and read it from page to page as if it were a normal book, where the riddler is surprised to find batman where he shouldn't be, asking "What? How did you escape? No matter, I'll do this!" where it then asks you to jump pages again, but you've already caught on by this point. By the end of the book, Batman has caught up to the riddler, and when asked how he did it, Batman simply says (paraphrasing) "Because you think everything is a game. I'll always win, because I refuse to play."
Videogames allow me to escape to other lives, therefore I never cheat, clip, glitch, or "phase" while I play the games I bought with my hard-earned cash. I believe these glitches were not how the developers designed their games to be played. That might just be me, though.
