Honestly considering the development history of DMC2 it's amazing that it's as competent as it is. Definitely not a good game but a solid attempt given the circumstances. Good thing 3 wasn't far behind.
I just want a new dmc 😢😢 I don't think we ever will. So I will cherish these with my heart
Here's a hot take: Dmc:dmc's vergil dlc was better than 3 & 4's. It gave vergil his own levels(albeit redesigned), two exclusive enemies, and a new boss fight.
Dmc 5 has the worst enemy designs
Huge ants for demons like tf lol
Should've done the reboot too
Agree with all except 4 if you think 3 enemies break the pace over 50% of dmc4 enemies literally take skill out of the equation
I hated that level in dmc3 with the mirrors you had to hit when they glowed
I love that water level in DMC 1. I love DMC 2 cause of the smooth animations and character designs. The best looking character models in the series in my opinion. If DMC 2 got a proper remake it will easily be the best in the series. Cause it had cool concepts.
DMC 2 kinda has better graphics than DMC 3.
I find the fact that these are considered hot takes should be a hot take itself.
2 edgy
Hot takes: more then 1 furys in any mission in 5 is harder then any boss
"If you know what you're doing" is the shittiest excuse. Shit take.
The game did feel like it dragged in the Qliphoth levels. It all just looked the same
Sorry, Is that a music box version of “Song of the Ancients” playing in the background?
DMC: Devil May Cry would be better received if they made it an original IP instead of piggybacking off the DMC brand…as well as keeping the creative team’s yaps shut in interviews.
Dmc5 made nero my fav character. He's so fun even though his kit is so simple.
I think during my dmc 1 play throughs, I’ve beaten the water mission in 30 seconds. It wasn’t even hard, just fire when fighting frosts underwater and swim to the exit after making it to the second area of the ship.
song of the ancients!? such a beautiful song from another phenomenal series.
Idk why but I enjoy playing as vergil in DMC4SE more than 5. He just seems more intense in there
Hey, my first language isn't English so i don't know the meaning 'bout some slangs. So can you guys please tell me about "hot takes"
Most of these are room temperature takes at best, especially 3 and 5's
Last one isn’t even that hot of a take, tho. That’s just FAX 😂
Is it really a hot take if I agree with all of these 🤣
Isn’t that nier music in the background
These are room temperature takes.
They're just accurate facts.
I agree with all these takes. Well said
Definitely agree with these especially with DMC 3 having the worst enemies and DMC 4 SE is very underrated
DMC 5 should've added lady and Trish as playable characters. The fact that 4 have more playable characters than 5 is ridiculous
I completely agree with DMC3 having the worst enemies the Soul Eaters, Blood-goyles, Arachnee, and the Fallen piss me off the most as they are there to ruin the entire point of what a character action game is supposed to be as they purposely slow everything down for you to exploit their weaknesses before every thinking about having fun with the game again for the love of Sparda. Like if Mundus ever came back he would have to invest in paying these demons cause they would easily destroy my resolve.
nah these just Facts
My hot take is that future dmc games should have more than 20 missions. The story sometimes feels rushed due to the mission limit
