Stoppp Florida homes are so much like California homes from the suburbs!! I have lived in homes that look like this! I drive by them! Clasping Florida's palm in "Coastal State it's too fuckin hot here Solidarity"!
Im from florida but moved away in elementary school and i guess i forget that not everyone has been exposed to this very specific brand of architecture lol
I’ve never been to Florida, but this looks exactly like my great aunt and uncle’s house in dauphin island Alabama, except there’s no pool because the beach is like 100 yards away.
From the UK I have to say this is my dream home… we have very small boxy houses in general you have so much room
I don’t know why but this build feels nostalgic for me, I haven’t been to Florida since I was about 12 years old and I don’t remember anything about it but something about this house feels nostalgic for some reason 🤷♂️
VERY accurate
a loooot of houses look like this in south georgia too, which just confirms to me even more that south georgia and north florida are basically the same state. My grandparents had a kitchen peninsula just like that, with the raised counter tops and everything
Edit: god the garage fridge full of fridge pops too, that threw me right back to 4th grade at my grandparent's house
Florida!!! feat. Florence + the Machine
Me from MA about to move to FL 😭😭😂 that house was spot on
this is jarring how accurate it is
I’ve been to florida twice. I thought the second time would be better, it was not. I will never set foot in that God forsaken state again.
I'd be okay with a screened-in-pool in the backyard. That's a nice house.
We're moving to Florida (unfortunately) and this looks like every home my mom has looked at. Ugh.
i’m in florida currently for cheerleading (from the UK) and the HEAT ! is insaneeee
I was born in Fort Myers Florida but unfortunately moved when I was 6 months old and never been back to Florida. I want to see my birth town so badly 😢 but financially probably won't ever be able to do 😢
I feel so called out by this build
ahhh i need to build one of these sometime since im also “unfortunately from florida” hahaha
omg I had SO much fun watching this that it became one of my favorite builds. the back screen seems super necessary and doesn't even look that bad honestly especially with maybe a more modern house? could look kinda cool. we had the ceiling fans everywhere in arkansas too.
as a fellow floridian, this was all spot on 😭
Do Louisiana 😂
my grandparents sold their custom built florida home a few years ago and i keep trying to builf it in the sims bc its my DREAM house
I'm a Brazilian but also had a moment in my life where I was obsessed with TLC/H&H selling and buying house shows. So I saw a pack full of Florida houses, and oh man why do they like this beige tile so much? I'd love for you to do a Brazilian inspired house, maybe an old granny style or some famous architecture designer inspired.
I hope Ron DeSantis crushes all of the stupid liberal crap that Lilsimsie believes in.
You should build a Minnesotan house! Some things that are common here are second TV rooms in the basement, front of the house has fancy siding but the other sides are plain, and 3 season porches. Another thing is all resident bedrooms are usually on the second floor (parents and kids).
not gonna lie i love the idea of the mesh pool room. as someone from the UK that would be a dream to have
Watching this from my Florida house as God intended
When I went to Florida in high school my uncle told me the screens were to stop alligators 😂
