  1. Very emotional the last part of the video….
    Lovely video as always !!
    Kisses dacob 💫💫

  2. My humble top 3 for Diciembre:
    1) Chanel No 5 EDP
    2) Chanel Bois Des Iles
    3) Chanel Cuir De Russie
    ❄️💙🥶🦋🧊

  3. Very emotional during Fahrenheit Parfum and you are always unique! Fahrenheit Parfum is my December pick too. Chanel No5 Parfum also and Coco EDP which is enormously wintery!

  4. You inspired me to acquire Le Lion this year, and it’s for sure the smartest fragrance decision I made in 2021! THANK YOU! Love ya, boo! 💖💖💖😹

  5. I wore my Coco Chanel Noir today. 🖤🖤🖤 I agree, stories remind us of memories like 500 books in one bottle tells the story. There are certain perfumes I refuse to wear because it brings back painful memories. You’re such a poet Dacob. You’re a total sweetheart in a bottle!! I’d wear you 🖤🖤🖤

  6. I have really connected with No.5 parfum lately. Also been wearing Bois des Iles and Francesca Bianchi Under My Skin. Eau Noire and Le Lion are masterpieces I prefer to smell on men than myself. Haven't tried the other two. Fantastic video as always Dacob!

  7. I love your top5!! Did you tried « La proie pour l’ombre » from Lutens ? It reminds me « Eau noire » in a way, really intriguing!
Take care! Salutations from Paris! ✨

  8. And I can relate to being reminiscent this winter. It is a good thing, if painful too, to look at myself and see where my past and my present do not match up. Kissing some things good-bye as they do not connect in the same way now. My past has shaped me, and yet I am not my past.

  9. Also when so much has been taken from us, we turn to what cannot be taken–what we have experienced, what we feel about our perceptions–like you say, the book that we have written. Maybe the pain comes from feeling that gap between those things and the fullness of reality. I don't know. Let's hope for joy and spontaneity in the future, hoping I will still be quick enough to leap for it! 😉 Perfume helps me stay quick! Thank you Dacob.

  10. After catching The-disease-whose-name-must-not-be-pronounced I've completely lost my sense of smell. I now live vicariously through your videos, desperately trying to escape to happier times filled with fragrant memories. Sadly, all of my books seem to be locked away in the forbidden section of the library with no access for several weeks (scientists say up to several months?!). I still hope for and wish you a prosperous year to come

  11. Some of your last quotes about how time passes very quickly and that we sort of have to surrender to whatever surprises time has in store for us …. it just leaves me pondering very very deeply and thinking how precious the current time that we have. Oh thank you Dacob. Thank you.

  12. Thank you for sharing your 5 perfumes for December. I've been all over the place place this month… Been working from home lately and what an experience… It's good because I can overspray my bomb perfumes without disturbing anyone 😂😂 can't put down Poeme and Poison. Been loving Cabotine especially in the colder days, funny… And a friend gave an old sample of Alien and Angel and it's been a while… I'm liking. Like some friend that you lost contact but enjoy their company for a while. Not going to buy anyone but been liking. I know you associate those ones to bad memories with nasty people 😉 but for me they are ok. And got myself a Shalimar Eau de Parfum for black Friday and I'm really liking that lemon, Cedar drydown. And of course, still celebrating number 5 😏 almost empty bottle… Big kiss

  13. I enjoyed listening to your recommendation. I love how you describe perfumes, it’s like I get the emotion of the fragrance through your words and reaction. The perfume that has a deep memory and the feeling of profound emotion is Wind Song. Granted, it’s not a prolific perfume, but my grandmother wore it and I loved her beyond words. I began wearing it after she died in 1983, so I could feel her close to me.

My top five for December is Coco Mademoiselle Intense, Coco Chanel, Roland Mouret une Amourette by Etat Libre d’Orange. This perfume takes me on a journey back to the days of Absinthe, Bougie society, and sensuality. Let me just put it this way, it smells like sex wrapped up in a bottle. I love it. It’s not crazy expensive but it is pretty good. I like Wisteria by Nest. It’s good for feeling flirty, fun, frivolous, and being approachable.

  14. L’Oréal is a culture destructor. Stopped buying their products. I think Estée Lauder also is going down the same alley as they managed to ruin Musc Ravageur from Frederic Malle.
