  1. I started tearing up! What a Blessing for both of y’all! Who would have thought??!!! God is good, all the time!

  2. Very cool stuff. The good Lord called my dad home and he was named Ross, a year later we became a grandparents to a grandson, named Ross. A blessing is the perfect word.

  3. Don’t try to tell me that there is such a thing as coincidence! No, no, no! God had a purpose all along!! Congratulations!

  4. That’s so awesome guys! God totally blessed ya! All awhile u were blessing others! Been praying for u guys! God is good…all the time! ~The Anderson Homestead

  5. God is good… He takes tragedy and turns it into a blessing… Congratulations on the new piglets…

  6. When one door closes another one opens. My grandma used to say that to me all the time. I still live my life that way. Don't keep your eye on the closed door walk a few steps and locate that other door. Well you found your other door to open. What a great way to start this year with a little help from each side. I could see that the little oink-oink really took a toll on Mamma. You could see it in her facial expressions.

  7. Not only did you get 6 to make up for the 6 you lost but you will have non related breeders to continue your group. God works in wonderful ways.

  8. God works in mysterious ways, and nice how it came together where you and the man from the ministry were able to help each other. What a blessing indeed. 🙏 Congratulations on the new pigs.

  9. Like I always tell my kids….Everything happens for a reason…..GOD IS GOOD

  10. God is good. I’m a big believer that everything works out for reason, we might not know or understand but he does. So happy for some positivity! Y’all deserve/need it! <3

  11. Im sure you get many helpful comments from actual farmers, and im just a garden variety housewife from Johannesburg…but here is a thought I've had…
I'm sure you fence off regular sections of your pastures and I know your land is fairly flat but low lying as I've seen how you struggle in downpours…
Have you considered making a dirt mound or a mound made of other materials, about a meter high and about 2 or 3 square meters in size..where your animals can escape to during such dangerous times.. perhaps to even keep their sleep shelters on, that would double as a safe and warm and dry place at such times.

  12. Reminds me of Job and how he was rewarded for his faith with everything he lost plus some. So happy to see this blessing.

  13. God is SO good. It still blows my mind when HE has a better plan than we could imagine. Thank you for having eyes to see the blessings. ❤️

  14. Just came over from 5M family farm looks like the kind of channel and family I want to watch so I subscribed and rang that notification bell. Hope the rest of your year is fantastic.
