Just an FYI………. My eyelids will burn every dang summer if I forget to put sunscreen on them. This IS a real thing!!! True story……
Really appreciate your reviews. I got one in a QVC kit, too and didn't like it, either. It seemed to make my lids look really crepey and dry, and the shimmer/glitter got all over. I usually like BM products, but this one didn't work for me, either. I also have somewhat oily lids, so maybe it does work better for dryer eye lids.
I think I used it as just an eye shadow and I didn't even notice what it did or not do. I will have to try it again. My color is different thought I believe.

I think this is the first time we've had different opinions. And I've been watching for years. Perhaps its the difference in our eyelids. The 5in1 is my go to shadow/primer when I oversleep and have to get ready fast. I put it all over the lid/crease and deepen it up in spots (I ave a darker shde) and add a touch of BareMin High Shine metallics smack dab in the middle. Then add a liner because my eyes disappear. I do appreciate your opinion though. Nicely done video. I love your honesty.

I agree with your review. I got a sample in my Ipsy bag and mine creased every time I wore it. I hated it so I eventually threw it away.

Good review! Thanks for being honest. The fact that it has glitter in it would be the deal-breaker for me! Don't want a primer that I'm going to put all over my eyelid to have glitter! I hadn't heard of these but I'm glad you saved me $18 a pop!

How it works so differently to each person.
To me works wonders, as oily as my eye lids are.
It lasts quite well 10hours, as an eye shadow with no crease.
Ok, as a Primer: it's like a creamy eye shadow. It may not be like the regular primers we are used to it, but it's the same as when people use a çream eye shadow (which it can be a base or a shadow.)
Anyway, as i said: different products act differently to each one of us.
But if you are unhappy with it please send it to me. I'll get that "ugly thing" off your hands.
I got a sample in my Ipsy bag and I love it at a primer for powdered shadow.

Kristin – this did crease on me but I actually found that a primer and then the BB cream is really simple easy look – and my eyes do look brighter! But I think they were highly over rated…..
I'm enjoying these shadows, but I use them with a primer. I tried them on their own, but had the same experience as you did. Since then, I have used it with both the bareMinerals primer & Urban Decay primer & it works well with them both.
I came back to report that yesterday I went to buy the full size of this BM 5 in 1 Cream Eyeshadow in Soft Linen (the color I THOUGHT I had received via my ipsy bag, LOL). But today when I put it on, it's not the same color!!! So the one I got in my ipsy bag is different and it does not have shimmer (I did think it was funny I never noticed the shimmer in mine, LOL). Anyhoo, just wanted to mention that I'm not a fan of the Soft Linen, it feels different….so I wonder if the formula is different depending on the shade. OK those are my 2 cents. Now off I go to figure out WHICH color I got and loved, LOL.
I figured it out! Ipsy sent me Barely Nude. (Sorry for clogging your comments area, lol. Just in case anyone wanted to know what color I had – and it does not have shimmer and I really like it). 🙂
Wow, that's interesting! I received a sample in last month's Ipsy bag and it didn't crease on me. I do have oily lids too. Just goes to show that different products work differently on everyone!
I love this product. I think you are right, you either love it or hate it. I think you should give it one more shot in the taupe or wine. I received the taupe in my IPSY bag and loved it so much that I bought 2! I have even used it on the run by itself and can build color with it.
I did just buy this in the pink color and I actually like it and find that I have no creasing issues but I have been watching and I can see where that could be a possible problem. My skin is dry but my eye lids aren't but maybe they aren't as oily as others? anyway, your review is still very good but I am liking the product. Pink one has very little sparkle. Neen
Just found your channel from @emilynoel83 . I love how you show each item of makeup you're wearing at the end of your videos. To the 5-in1 BB…It works pretty well for my dry eyelids. Elegant Taupe works as a single shadow for when I'm in a hurry and want something more than my Prolongwear concealer on my lids. The glitter is a problem, though!
This stuff rocks under all my urban decay eyeshadows, I think less is more with this, the more you use the more slip it creates.. But I get at least 10 hours of wear with my shadows when using this as a primer!
Very helpful video. You aren't the only one disappointed about the longevity and creasing factor. This helped me in me making a decision!

I used this on my eyelids and it burns! It makes me not want to try any other Bare Mineral products.
Oh my gosh – I just purchased this after watching Wayne Goss' video about the best concealers – and he considers it "holy grail!" Only used today – but I think I agree with YOU – and am SO disappointed! 🙁 Am thinking about using it with some powder over it before the powder eye shadow – but who needs extra steps?!
