I'm not a Shea Moisture fan… but that particular line was the first thing I tried when I went natural a year and a half ago. It actually flaked up on me.

Thank you, thank you for the encouragement. I have worn my short hair in a afro style for years. Then early this year I happened upon this natural hair community and was introduced not only to many Black owned quality products but also beautiful styles for our hair. Since my hair is short I immediately fell in love with the wash and go curly styles such as yours. But first I had products to purchase. I finally settled on one of the Mane Choice lines and Uncle Funky's hair gel but my attempts at a wash & go has been a dismal fail! Mane Choice has done wonders for my hair but trying to twist my hair, well lets just say it was not pretty.🙄 I will continue to watch and practice and hopefully one day my hair will at least resemble yours!👌🏾😘

The question I have for everyone, how do you find a person that can trim your ends with your natural hair. Each time I go and have my hair trim I end up looking like a haircut versus a trim to allow my hair to grow longer
Can you please tell me where you go to get your taper cut? Please please I live in the atl however where ever you go I can go because I’m a flight attendant I need a correct taper cut
I love love love these products. There are only a few products that give me long lasting, moisturized definition to my kinky coily hair.
So glad I found you. I already did my wash n go. I do my hair once a week and don't touch it again until wash day. I work out alot, usually I shingle but I'll try soft coil out next week and this product. Beautiful results.

thanks for all your encouragement. i have been natural for 5 years. I've been cutting my hair about every 6 months I just recently did another big cut in July and I decided to try styling my hair instead of wearing a natural afro and pulling the front back with a band . I am 63,my hair is silver gray( which i love) but its very fine and I DON'T like eco gel. I only use the CANTU curl activator, leave in conditioner and hair food. The water based products makes my hair spongy. I will try to coil it so my curls become defined. i have a tapered hair cut with a wavy pattern in the back. i will try the coil technique and hope its turns out as nice as yours.
