Do your herbs need to be dried before you infuse them? I would love to try this with Green Tea or Horsetail Butter. Those have amazing healing properties.
Hello Heidi thanks for your great videos. I made some really nice salve but I noticed one of tin salve has a more grainy texture. Why would that happen ?

Heidi- I just started my second plantain salve. I foraged 100 broadleaf plantain and dried them on a rack in my garden. I whizzed them up in a smoothie maker. I bought a new mason jar. I bought 4 bottles of avocado oil. I put the dry plantain in the jar, and added 3 bottles of avocado oil. I'll leave it for 2 months to infuse. I'll then sieve the contents of the jar. I'll use coconut oil and beeswax to make the salve.
Could I add horsetail and nettle to the oil? Pineapple weed? Yarrow?
Would this work for Shingles?
