NOTE: Contains silk protein. So far, I’ve had no problems. If your hair is protein-sensitive, you may want to be wary, but it provides plenty of moisture as well 🙂

  1. I hate how people say that only black women can use Shea Moisture products. I'm Hispanic on both sides and I have naturally straight how that I recently permed and Shea Moisture products due wonders for my new curls!

  2. I'm a curly headed Caucasian and this product is great for my hair . For the record, because of its high quality ingredients, it also serves as a great lotion and also healed up a nasty sunburn almost overnight. How many hair products can do that?

  3. You should fluff out your hair for volume 🙂

  4. the arguments here in the comment section are not cute … anyways, thank your for the review 🙂 I am new to the curly girl method and looking systematicly all of your videos, because we have similar curl typs 🙂 hope you are still active on YT

  5. Let's get something straight… Shea Moisture products are geared towards women of color because they were made with them in mind. However, these products are not strictly reserved for only black people they are for people who have thick, curly, and/or dry hair. The ignorant people saying that these are "our products" and that white people are trying to steal our hairstyles by using "our products" need to stop embarrassing themselves and other WOC.

  6. I just got this but I bought it online, and im not sure if I got the original or a copy. can you feel the ingredients when u stick your finger in it? because mine has flakes in it. And the ingredients are different.

  7. i have very tight curls(native american/white), it is a struggle to find hair products in abudance for really textured hair , but this product is EVERYTHING, glad i found this review and tried it out! this little tub does everything for me as a conditioner and am so happy with it, i found it for a few bucks less than normal at my local walmart!😁😁

  8. Please start making videos again, I love your reviews. Do you still follow the curly girl method?

  9. Shea Moisture is for anyone who has curls but there are also different lines for certain curl types, but just because this product is used more by African American/ multi-cultural/ colored people(whatever you want to call it) doesn't mean Caucasian women can not use this. I am an African American woman, and this product does wonders for my hair, but it can be used by anyone if it meets their needs.

  11. Where I buy Shea Moisture, it's not in the "ethnic section". It's right right in with all the shampoos and haircare. And what does it matter anyway?? My hair is the thickest any stylist has ever seen (often compared to a horses tail) and very coarse and wiry, wavy/curly and heavy. And I'm the whitest chick around…

  12. I love your hair!!😍😍 but I think this product is too heavy and Is more directed to ppl with coarser hair

  13. I'm half Dutch and half Venezuelan and I have curly hair because of my mom. This product is so good for my hair and I'm white. Now what? I can't use it because it's "only for black women"? One word: BULLSHIT. Yes, it's true that black women use the products of Shea Moisture more than white women do but if it works for someone than why the fuck not? We are talking about a fucking hair product like please use your fucking brain.

  14. Btw this is not a product on color it’s a product of hair if u have normal curly hair maybe not a lot of curly hair or like this girl in the video it’s gonna work but not as much now if u have my type of curly which is 2b or darker skin care or Hispanic whatever u are if u have more thick or more curly hair this is gonna do wonders not a product for normal curly hair

  15. This product is awesome for curl definition it's definitely meant to be used more as a styler than a leave in

  16. I recently grew out my salt & pepper hair and even more recently started embracing my natural curls. No way is this just for African hair. Yes, it is marketed to that target market, hence the confusion. However, folks, curls are curls. Some are tight corkscrew type curls, and some are loose wavy curls. But they all respond well to this line of products! I, for one, am so thrilled with the coconut & hibiscus that I bought the entire line. My Scotch-Irish curls love it all—shampoo to leave in spray. So, if you’re a Caucasian person with curls, don’t let the marketing or any mean comments deter you. You’ll love this stuff!

  17. Thanks for posting! My daughters have similar hair type as you appear to have and they're struggling to figure out best way to care for and style their hair.
