  1. Very informative, Lisa! Thank you ♥
Weleda uses the word Fragrance, yet uses only essential oils to perfume their products. They have a biodynamic garden where they grow many of the raw materials to extract their ingredients. The fragranced creams though, are irritating indeed, and I have identified the alcohol as the main irritating source.
Skin food is really one of their product to try on dry skin. It is much less, or I'd say not irritating if the skin is not sensitive.
For very sensitive skin though, EMU oil is the best thing I've found. When my skin was cracking from extreme cold, and being quite affected by illness, I tried about 50 types or brands of creams, and I was only ably to apply Emu Oil from Dundee. I could not even tolerate cream for babies.

One other product I liked for very dry and cracked skin, when it was not that uber sensitive, was the Rescue Balm from Nova Scotia Fisherman Extreme Skin Care. They also have very nice soaps, and a very good lip balm. Even if my favourite lip balm for the winter, is the ultra moisturizing Green Beaver lip balm, made for Canadian winters. I can't use anything else now.
