I use antibacterial soaps but I've been told a lot that I should stop because germs are becoming more immune to those kinds of soaps and eventually they'll be useless… something like that? Also, that you'll build up a stronger immune system if you don't use them. But, I just don't feel clean if I've used the bathroom or handled raw meats in my kitchen and then don't use an antibacterial soap
Did you try taking the stopper out of the primer, it's the little clear plastic thing at the top of the tube. I took mine off of my primer potion old packaging and got a lot more product out.
I had a travel size of the Tresemme dry shampoo, and couldn't take it. It actually made my hair greasy. Did not work for me at all. Love the video! Empties are so fun. The ingredient in question is Triclosan. There are a lot of articles about it.
Most antibacterial soaps (including the ones from b&bw) contain an ingredient called triclosan whose safety in being questioned

I've heard Pantene, tresemme, and dove are the worst drugstore brands for your hair especially ive heard bad things about Pantene the most
And it seems like no one on youtube likes the tresemme dry shampoo! I hate it as well
I am an ecotoxicologist and the anti bacterial properties of some hand soaps have been found to cause adverse effects in humans and wildlife at VERY high doses. Basically you'd have to be living in the active ingredient to see bad effects. To some people it's a concern, but not to me. I still use a lot of products with anti bacterial ingredients like triclosan.
I go through soooo many BBW candles….I have one going whenever I am in my house and have soooooo many empty glass containers that I could supply about 50 people with makeup brush holders for the rest of their lives…no joke. It's actually disturbing….

Jamie I think I commented back to you saying from your rave that I had ordered it from Ebay, and we hoped they would bring it back this year (they'd be fools not to :)…have NOT smelt the newly named but was so thrilled !!! I'm VERY frugal, so I rarely take someones recommendation especially on a scent ,that I can't preview B4 purchase. I LOVE IT !!!!!,puts you right into the fall season…. Delighted & Pleased, April

Love watching you guys! And because u asked, anti-bacterial hand cleansers have become a no-no because it's been discovered that they kill ALL bacteria – we need the good kind and perhaps a touch of the not-so-good kind to keep our immunity systems in good shape. Current wisdom is that soap is what works – and has for 100's of years. Not sexy, but good for u! On the upside, there are plenty of nice pump soaps with delicious scents.
I'm so curious, what does your stash of empties look like? You film from mid-length so we only see you and when you show each empty, but it seems like you have this endless pit of empties that you conjure each empty at a time. Mind showing us how to gather up your empties next time?? So curious!

I think the reason people are saying it's bad to use antibacterial soap is because some bacteria is good and some is bad (and will make us sick)…and some is REALLY bad (will make sick, and has become antibiotic resistant). The potential problem with antibacterial soap is it will kill the "good" bacteria on our hand. It'll probably kill most of the bad bacteria too, but antibiotic resistant bacteria will survive.
…Normally, the "good" bacteria competes for space and "food" on our hands, keeping the "bad" bacteria at bay. However; if we get rid of all the "good" bacteria, the antibiotic bacteria has the potential to go crazy…this could lead to us getting sick, and (perhaps more importantly), leads to propagating the problem of bacteria becoming more and more antibiotic resistant.
Antibacterial hand soaps are fine. The 'good bacteria' you need to keep is inside your body so don't drink soap and you'll be fine lol. Forget hand soaps- the worst cause of antibiotic resistance is the antibiotics that doctors prescribe too often! Same with anti-virals. Don't take them unless your illness is really bad and your immune system can't handle it.
Also there is more danger in not using antibacterial soap and spreading the bacteria! As with all thing ppl go a bit crazy and run to extremes! – from a bacteriologist!
I know I'm obsessed! but love candles like you ladies do to, Just a tip I've been doing with the candles lately is to use a knife to cut out the remaining half inch of wax and use this in candle warmers! Gotta get every last scent (kinda how you cut your tubes, such a good idea!)

Mindy! Soap and Glory has their own perfume, that smells VERY similar to the hand food. Just a little bit more strong, but still smells good!

Great vid! I am with Jayme, soap and glory smells like an grandmas bathroom…bleck. LOL. I believe there was something on the news lately about AB soaps and a concern with the ingredient triclosan.
