Lip Balm Addiction
If you apply lip balm multiple times a day or panic when you don’t have chapstick on hand, you may be wondering if you’re addicted to your lip balm
Turns out that lip balms don’t contain any addicting ingredients but there are a few reasons why you may need to continually apply your lip balm:
1. You may have formed the habit of licking your lips more often because of the flavor of your lip balm
2. Your lip balm may contain irritating ingredients that irritate your lips making you want to apply it more often
Ingredients to avoid: Camphor, Menthol, Peppermint, Castor oil, Fragrance, Propolis
My recommendations:
-Vaseline original
-CeraVe healing ointment
-Aquaphor (not their lip balm, but their regular ointment)
Finally, if that fails, consider switching your toothpaste! Many toothpastes contain ingredients that irritate the lips!

Just so y’all know-
Lip balm from Burt’s Bees has no addicting or harmful chemicals in it so it is also a great choice if you have chapped lips!!!
I found Vaseline sat on top of my lips instead of moisturising into them
I use Carmex idk bout yall but I keep having to reapply

the addiction is feeling how soft your lips are and never wanting to have them dry again. + vaseline is the only lip balm i use and will forever recommend it if you have super dry lips.
Try forest essentials sugared rose petal lip balm,it's organic, cruelty free,paraben free etc.
I like peppermint chapstick cause it gives the illusion that my breath smells nice withouth having to chew gum

I'm addicted to being hydrated lips so lip balm or Vaseline anything works. I just can't stand dry lips or without anything without anything that doesn't have lip balm or Vaseline like feel to my lips…..
